There are a few jkb posters who basically insist that's actually the case! -

Most ridiculous/funny shout you've ever heard at a game
Ulysses replied to mscjambo's topic in The Terrace
IIRC, at 5-0 up the Spurs fans started to sing, to the tune of "Blue Moon" : "6-5, you're going to win 6-5" -
I would like to see the monkeys in the hot springs. Maybe join them for a bit if they're friendly. 😉

The hope has to be that with new signings joining us, and Oda and McKay hopefully being fit and healthy for a lot more of the season, Forrest will be pushed down the pecking order a bit, and get less game time than this season. He did indeed have a good spell of form over the winter this season, but I think there have still been a number of games where he's played more because of lack of other options than anything else. Having said that, the fact he was given a 2 year contract extension clearly shows Naismith values him as a squad member, and wants to keep him around. I suspect if things go fairly to plan, he'll probably feature quite a bit in Sunday games after European Thursday nights, and against weaker teams at other busy points of the season, but not much against the bigger teams. There's no chance we'll be looking to move him on in the summer though, and almost no chance he'd be remotely interested in moving to somewhere like Killie or anyone else really while he's still got two years left with us! -
Strasbourg, Lorient and Troyes not Happy....

Lorient lost again tonight too. 3 points off safety, having played a game more, with a worse GD, with only 2 games left, with the 2 teams above them at home tomorrow… relegation could be confirmed by this time tomorrow night. -

Is there anything in politics more shit than the Labour Party?
Ulysses replied to Ulysses's topic in The Shed
The way FPTP works I'd expect Labour to do enough to win the election by themselves. However, based on results so far, I'm not sure you're going to see the kind of landslide that the opinion polls would suggest. -
Wheelie bin went out last night for collection this morning. No collection happened so got in touch with the council who told me collections can happen anytime up until 10pm. Obviously bin is still outside and still full.
-
Me too. But, I’m going back very, very soon.

Definitely could be, he didn't think more serious laws applied to him so why not this.

Are you saying we're Rich As F😲ck? -
Lo and behold, indeed. 👀

Enjoyed reading that, as for working from home that’s a no no, I work all over and from a van so I’m more than use to driving about, just means a bit of an extra commute. I’ve had an offer accepted on a wee cottage so I’m hopeful I’ll get the move, for the record I love Edinburgh and I’ll be back often but I’m just fancying some peace and quiet, amongst other reasons. cheers!

Malinga the Swinga replied to Ulysses's topic in The Shed
Nah, they'll get the majority required. Should they fall short, the Lib Dems will join them. Labour will keep well away from the toxicity of a tainted & failed SNP. We will find out soon enough -
The pressure is getting to him. He'll crack and have a complete breakdown way before November comes around.
-
It was 0-0 after 25 mins when abandoned. The game should never have started and the decision to abandon was 100% correct.
-
We're seeing Reform stealing large numbers of tory votes because the only people still voting Tory are the terminally thick and the racists. Reform are all in on that message so they're taking whatever is left of the Tory vote. Everybody normal switched to LibDems or Labour a couple of years ago. The GE is going to be a total wipeout.

***Official Septic vs Heart of Midlothian match day thread***
zeke1874 replied to Pingu's topic in The Terrace
Last time away to them was an accomplished performance. Kept them quiet and got an earlyish goal from a set piece to unsettle them. But the main thing about that day was the defence was on their game and mostly restricted them to shooting from outside the box. More off the same Hearts!! Would like to see oda play and Vargas, give their defence something to worry about with the pace on a counter attack.. -

👍 Did I just hear Jim Goodwin say it was ‘difficult’ for Hearts to get out of the Championship? Huh? -
And just to make sure everyone is clear about this, Trump at every break claims they wont let him testify, as if that's even a real thing Him being so stupid and all you have to wonder if actually he thinks a gag order means he can't testify, no doubt anything stupid enough to support him might think that. But he obviously absolutely can, he just wont because he would be shredded in minutes. I would love him to testify, please testify dozy Don, I want to hear your side of it.

Yeah Just the Premiership does that. The other 2 it's 4th v 9th and 3rd v 2nd. -
Did he get the spelling right? He's begging them to lock him up for a few hours or so, he wants it. I want to see them put him in the slammer for the weekend, that will mess him up good. I still maintain Trump is a mental weakling and will become ever more decrepit right before our eyes.
