When my wife was looking for a new car she looked at a 2019 Hybrid Yaris with 4500 miles. Now in traditional car you think "great, one little old lady owner who only went to her corner shop in her hi-spec small car and hid inside during lockdown"...however, when you research hybrids you discover that they need a proper run at at least 40 once a week - similar to diesels but for a different reason (with diesels it is so the car can fart out the particulates but for a hybrid it is to maintain battery health). Now Toyota said the battery is fine and as long as you dealer service you get 10 year warranty - only problem is that the dealer service costs £800 for 2 years...so you are effectively a prisoner to the aftersales... She bought a BMW 1 series instead.

You could at least mention that it was down to the glory hunting element of the Celtic support - as made clear here. “The lost money which Rangers, and now Hearts and Hibs, have taken out of the game, has been made up from profit from selling players. Our revenues have stayed the same from selling players to make up for those lost millions. "But when Rangers went down we took £100 off season tickets. So that is £4m for two years. The Rangers games, at least another £3m. “Then there’s a perception among our supporters that there is no competition, you are going to win anyway and you don’t go to the game. So it could be £10m. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/revealed-rangers-troubles-cost-celtic-4137888

If you forget the lessons of the past then you will be doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past. War is stupid and people are stupid. The outcome of any war will eventually be resolved by a political solution and the fairer the solution the less chance of future disputes arising. After the Second World War those who had experienced this created International Law to protect people in future wars - The Geneva Convention. Later they also recognised the need for countries to be able to talk to each other rather than taking up arms - The Vienna convention. Israel has breached the Geneva convention, The Vienna convention and also the Genocide convention. Israeli society are already panicking about the retaliation as children who have lived through this horror grow up and seek revenge and so the cycle of violence continues. If Israel had followed International Law they would have gone after the perpetrators only but instead they have killed thousands of innocent women and children and in doing so have created the next generation of resistance. So my answer to what I would have done is I would have followed International Law.

Benefactors who cant plough money in to the first team due to FFP rules would be my guess

No place on top flight football for plastic pitches. If teams cannot afford to replace them and play on a proper grass pitch then imo they’ve no business being in the top flight. hugely damaging for the image of Scottish football imo

UK General Election, July 4th - How will you vote?
Malinga the Swinga replied to Ulysses's topic in The Shed
You can't be surprised. That's all they have left. -
You can't just make the Wheatfield bigger there is a brewery in the way. How are we paying for this tens of millions of pounds project, whilst ensuring we stay in third ? Not spending money we don't have is not settling for mediocrity it's reality. We need to just rebuild tynecastle or build a brand new stadium otherwise we have no ambition blah blah blah.

Cheers John, at least someone gets it.

Good to see the nationalists out in force with their usual playbook of excuses and whatabootery -
Cahoots was the exact word to use. They have been since 1909.

OK maybe cahoots was not the best word to use but it is clear both boards if not physically meeting are aware they need each other.

Tbh it's difficult to properly discuss something that was clearly scribbled on the back of a fag packet somewhere in Downing Street last week.
-
Ah, so it's desperate evasion which ties in with what many on here suspect. You can easily get rid of the stupidity, dullness and boredom by giving a straight answer - or even one out of the blue.

If they're going to go for him, we should definitely take him away from the E-Mailers -
I have no idea how you earn a wage but you obviously don't run your own business. Businesses run on profit and the only way to make a profit is to sell something or a service for more than you paid/ cost for it. The Celtic board saw the profit drop when Sevco went down and the only way to get the profit back up was Sevco in the top flight. That is why Celtic board members did nothing to prevent Sevco getting punished more heavily, they could easily have objected to the agreement as the fans demanded but no they knew where the money was and it came from their bigoted fans. This is the last I will say about it so if you still can't see it don't bother to reply. Thanks.

You mean except for the highly carcinogenic rubber pellets that these pitches are covered in?

I get the logic for Murray. But a hibs return would seem far more likely
