A quick look at the table indicates that City have scored more but Arsenal have a better goal difference. This link indicates that Arsenal would be top if it was a draw.

I had suggested him a while ago. Think he would be a good signing -

And the beautiful thing is, while we are getting ripped from them for signing players from the bottom 6, they think they are about to sign their players from PSG, Bayern, Liverpool and Man City. All from Foleys 6 million. 🙂😀😁😀😁😀🙂 -

RB/RCB not sure there’s anyone I’d take from league - really don’t get the clamour for Strain. Armstrong I like but probably not at what it would cost. -

If Shankland/Beni are here priorities have to be RB, RCB and winger. Wilson looks ready to vie with Vargas for secondary striker. Devlin’s renaissance + Pollock/Tait means we probably don’t need another midfielder as desperately as we did. -
They have started a thread on mysisterismymaw.net called, potential buyers. They have the Gordon's, they have the Foleys, how many buyers do you need. What's wrong with just the two of them carving the carcass up.

Yes me too have the fans got ahead of themselves?

I’d 2nd Zeefuik for the reasons discussed -
I hope so; they can both go down together

Is anyone else beginning to wonder if the whole thing is staged? Like a Black Mirror plot. The real life Martha on Piers Morgan looked liked it was being played by an actor at times. Could she be part of the "show"?

Just saw that as well. I thought it must be a mistake. -
Just think, we’ve also lost to Dundee, St Mirren and Ross County away, Motherwell at home, and drew twice with Hibs. If we had won those games also - as we should have - we’d be on 80 points. The progression we have had this season is to be championed, but let’s recognise (as I’m sure Naismith does) that there is still room for improvement. And although historically this has proved difficult in the past, it’s an improvement we should target for ourselves.

So Sunak to have another speech to the nation this one purely based on fear and of course how only he can keep us safe 🤣 Has tried and failed to run an election campaign on divide and immigration so now is going for full fear factor.

Shankland might want to try a new challenge but his options will be limited. Top finisher that he is. His genuine lack of pace will curtail them. He’s not going to get an EPL team for that reason and the Championship teams who are looking at him, are unlikely to pay what we expect. I also suspect there will be a gnashing of gums from along the M8 blue corner in terms of them losing the league. A genuine finisher would probably have seen them win the league.

Don't know if my sides could handle a league cup group stage exit whilst we're preparing for a Euro trip. -
It's not the same situation, really. In the Spurs situation they can control not beating City. They could choose to go out and throw the game. Man Utd can't control beating Arsenal - a team several levels above them at the moment. They couldnt just go out and choose to 'cuff Arsenal'.
