The Sound of Music ... ... for so many reasons ...
-
One of my favourite artistes is Neil Sedaka. But ... it was bugging me as to who he reminded me of. He and Joe lo Truglio must've been separated at birth. Lol. See what I mean? Post yer look-alikes ... 😆

I am Legend. Not sure if Smith has maybe tainted it though.

As the title says, which movies would you like to see a sequel too. Personally the 2 that spring to mind are Dredd (Karl Urban one) and World War Z
-
3rd. Not expecting much in Europe and progress in the domestic cups are probably dependent on avoiding the old firm.
- Today
-
3rd and a cup final would be great.

When I look at that arsenal badge all I can see is an animal that unfortunately has had to have its back legs replaced by a set of wheels.

Celtic fans complaining again about their allocation . . .

True, that is a first that Hibs can rightly lay claim to. Pity for them that when Celtic was founded they poached a whole load of players from Hibs, who have been Celtic's feeder club ever since. -
Next season Some good results in Europe hopefully pish all over hibs, third in the league and start again Now hopefully we can move to a different level but think we’ve reached it hope I’m wrong

The Scottish Government loan was repayable over something crazy like 20 years, so they still have a long way to go before they finish repaying the tax payers' money. In their last accounts the outstanding amount was £1.38m, down about £70k from the previous accounts. What is now amusing in hindsight, is that as a non Premiership side, we received a grant rather than a loan, so we owe the tax payer nowt. -

indeed. Also , have they paid back the £million or so they borrowed from the tax payer during covid ? surely they can now seeing they have £8m or so to play with in the transfer market ? deluded dicks so they are -
Going to ignore most of the usual nonsense here but the Hispanic vote is very much not a monolith. It includes Cuban exiles who have been staunchly Republican since the Bay of Pigs, Hispanic families whose families have been here for centuries, Hispanic families that just got here, and so forth. And Mexican Americans don't like Guatemalans, and neither of them like Haitians (that can at least be a bit down to racism). Puerto Ricans either want statehood or independence, and are more worried about that than immigration. Why the disdain for Biden? Because groceries and housing are too expensive right now and wage growth has just now finally caught up to inflation over the last couple of years, so folks have been hurting for a while. One can argue how much of that is COVID, how much is Biden, and how much is the GOP in Congress blocking anything and everything that might help. But Biden's unpopularity is down to the economy and that comes through loud and clear in every poll. No need to make it complicated.

A good point, Rob. They're also creaming themselves at the fantasy of Foley splashing his billions on their 5h1tey wee club. -
I'm not going to go over old ground here, but I'll summarize my position very briefly: Trump is a disgraceful human being who is unfit for political office, and Biden is your typical self-serving politician. It's incredible that the Presidential election has come down to this.

This is the first time I've ever felt sorry for Celtic -
All valid and correct points. Nobody wins in war, there’s just one side that loses more than the other. Whilst people use a 1,400 year old fairytale as a guideline for their way of life there is no way out of this. Do you have an alternative solution?

Is "lol" a corporate financing and project management term with which I'm not familiar?

Okay, you think the approach is the only viable one possible. What happens once they eliminate all of Hamas though? Assuming that's even possible. Where do the millions of civilians go now that Gaza is levelled? How do you expect the kids that survive will feel towards Israel (and the Western nations that allowed it to happen) as they grow older towards early adulthood. The cycle will repeat. The horse has bolted long ago though anyway. Not much else Israel could do to make things any worse. Which is some going given the justification they had to do something after the October attack.
