I'd still say keep an eye on Bair. Plenty decent SPL striker have failed in England. Blackburn and Bristol City are clubs with aspirations of challenging at the top of the Championship. A striker from Motherwell may struggle to deliver for them. Look at Sam Cosgrove when he went from Aberdeen to West Brom. Awful move. Nisbet is hardly setting the heather alight either at Millwall.

I genuinely think it takes skill to manage top players. The egos and ridiculousness of some players at the top can be farcical - didn't Yaya Toure get upset because he didn't get a birthday cake? He was like 34... But I agree - Pep has always had the best players in whatever league he's been in. Winning with the biggest and best teams isn't as impressive as what Ferguson achieved over the period he did it in.

Pep has never won a league as an underdog, not once. Fergie has done that several times. That final team at Man U had no right to be anywhere near winning the league.

Sky pay the money to the Premier League, who then distribute it according to their internal agreement, ensuring that the bottom club gets about 50% of the TV money that the top team gets. Fat chance of that happening in Scotland.

Not sure Barca outspent Madrid, but Man U certainly spent more than everyone else.

Its a difficult comparison really, both are great managers who could easily achieve what the other did, both spent fortunes at detestable clubs.
