So basically they only really signed 2 players, the rest were loans and if they turn out to be any good they'll be back to their parent club.

So Covid-19 is more dangerous to young people than you might have thought. Isn't it just as well there are vaccines?
-
Still wouldn't want hibs to win a cup final against one of them. But would put either one totally out of existence before Hibs.
-
The diet huns, wee rangers and cousins is spouted all from the other lot in Glasgow to annoy us. They are a horrible lot also.
-
Imo Frankie Kent and Kye Rowles are the best centre half partnership in the league, yet we could still improve on them both.
-
Not atm, I'd agree. But the post you quoted had Spittal in it, just confused me. Because you quoted a post with Spittal in it, I thought you were saying we'd have a better midfield next season so this season's results v Rangers would be irrelevant if comparing our future midfield to theirs.
-
I was talking to a Motherwell season ticket holder a couple of weeks ago and he was very unhappy to be losing Spittal. He thinks we've got a gem who'll thrive at Tynecastle. I've only seen him on highlights but if he can score a few like he did on Saturday he'll do.

Hearts Women - Cup Final tickets now on sale
Kalamazoo Jambo replied to 3fingersreid's topic in The Terrace
Well, Georgia Hunter has been playing for Hearts since she was 12 so I’ll give her a break even if that is true (I have no idea). Had missed that she signed a new deal last week, good news all round - and she gets a bit of security while dealing with her ACL recovery. https://www.heartsfc.co.uk/blogs/news/hunter-pens-hearts-extension -
Yip, makes it much harder to break away from the chasing pack.

Must admit, I’d resigned myself to seeing Beni leave for nothing, but that latest interview gives me some hope. He’s only now getting back to pre-injury levels of fitness and performance, and I’d love to see him sign on for a few more years.
-
This was my 1st memory of him playing in the Dundee Derby and I remember thinking he was gonna be a talented player.
-
My opinion too. We will never get to 'next level' where we are.

Just to be different, Nessun Dorma.

Summer 24 Transfers - Vargas signs 5 year deal ( updated/merged )
RobNox replied to Juho_Makela_Goal_Machine's topic in The Terrace
Yeah, I though he did well when he came on. Hasn't had a lot of game time, but looks tidy on the ball, rarely gives it away and links play pretty well. Good pass for Shankland's goal. Obviously Naisy will have formed an opinion as to whether he's worth trying to bring in on a permanent deal. My own opinion is that he could be a player to replace Haring, who will almost certainly be leaving. -

I just don’t think he’s better than the other options we have, and If the manager had played Grant earlier in the season he wouldn’t have got that extension. Watching him and Shankland tripping over each other was frustrating when different options were available, that goal where he hit a weak shot off Shankland standing next to him for example. -
This is where I stand.

The term "Israeli settlers" and that so convenient image of the Israeli flag suggests to me this might not be entirely an unbiased bit of reporting.

ER is the 4th best stadium in Scotland, but the competition is shite. Dens, tannadice, Aberdeen all dumps, then the rest are all too small to be considered seriously.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. Not the best in the recent series, but pretty entertaining. First part is your standard loner on quest to reunite with his clan/loved ones and interesting from a character and philosophy or morals development. Then it gets a bit shallow, gung-ho and James Bond-ish as the plucky hero and his group try to retrieve an artefact and destroy the big underground base. Obvious plot threads left for the sequels (no spoilers!). 7/10

Scottish independence and devolution superthread
Geoff Kilpatrick replied to Happy Hearts's topic in The Shed
The point being that current inflation rates are nothing to do with Brexit. Current inflation is based on economic conditions from Covid and supply shocks like Ukraine. The US is more self-sufficient than the UK and the Eurozone. Moreover, when Germany as an exporter has seen exports fall to China along with the energy shock from Russia, that's had a bigger effect on the Eurozone. Going back to my original point, in 2016 the Osborne negative campaigning on Leave was akin to the Four Horsemen appearing if Leave won. They oversold it as opposed to trying to make any positive case for Remain AND more importantly, the deal that Cameron had negotiated with Tusk. -
That's not a take, it's a stone cold fact.

We should have moved from Tynecastle to a 25-30k all dancing, singing stadium on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
