Man U seem to have a lot of injuries but i would bet most of those injuries would clear up in an instant if they were playing well and winning. The players are hiding.

That was deliberate! He could have avoided Vargas but you can see him jump over him and bring his boot down on Vargas. He knew what he was doing. Red card to any other team bar Rangers.

Shankland contract extension ( merged )

Highlights how difficult it is for us to build on 3rd and look upwards. Recently- Souttar, Gino- nothing. Now Beni- nothing And Shankland away, we will get a fee but it will be relatively low fee or he'll sign a pre Contract in 6 months- and leave for nothing. It's a bit shite tbh. -

I think we can all agree that overall Seria A is a stronger league than the SPL, so that's a very good achievement for the lad. -
We are ****ed if we are relying on those 2. If Shanks goes this summer . This is a massive window for Naismith as not only does he need to find replacement strikers that can score loads of goals, he needs to change the system we play

Shankland contract extension ( merged )

Seems Shanks will be off this summer if a club meets hmfc valuation, can't criticise him for wanting to make himself a big pay day but we're going to struggle big time to replace his goals -
Shankland contract extension ( merged )

This has been on the cards since the winter window. His demeanour on the pitch would suggest so. I think this has also affected his game recently regarding goals.. Something has been going on in the background most probably his agent touting him around clubs. I would think that Hearts will be scouring the world for at least two strikers to replace him. I know we have Wilson and Kirk but they are both young and require careful management. Especially with the unforgiving elements in our support. -
To hibs.net - here is how we're feeling tonight

I forget Nesbit existed until now. Just checked and he has scored 5 league goals for Millwall. He's also 27 now which surprised me, I thought he was still early to mid 20's. I doubt leaving him out of the squad at the weekend was too difficult a decision and I reckon his manager's comments about him being a big part of their plans are purely to maintain his transfer value for when they do sell him in a couple of months time. -

VAR would've looked at that and decided no action was needed. Reverse the roles and it's guaranteed that would be reviewed and a red card for the opposition. The bias hasn't gone away with VAR, it's just selective as to what they choose to get involved with and what they sweep under the carpet. As we see in Europe, Celtic and Rangers really struggle with being refereed fairly.

agreed mate, I think beyond doubt now he wants to leave but whether he leaves or not this summer will come down to £££. hopefully it is Italy, for a good fee and he can come back in 2/3 years time -
Haven't seen the clip, but as the Celtic captain isn't he above the laws of the game that apply to mere mortals? Much like Broon before him.

Summer 24 Transfers - Vargas signs 5 year deal ( updated )
kingantti1874 replied to Juho_Makela_Goal_Machine's topic in The Terrace
I this was his plan all along, to secure one last big deal. From his perspective I think it would be a brave move to sit out the next year. Anything could happen. If no one makes a reasonable bid in the summer the sensible things for all parties would be another deal with a buy out clause. -
Most ridiculous/funny shout you've ever heard at a game
Tommy Brown replied to mscjambo's topic in The Terrace
Would put Miko's screamer to win 3-2 in that bracket, too. -
Yeh I am with you on this the league is a farce. I suppose money could talk. He is leaving so I hope it’s Italy.
-
That's deliberate all day long. If that had been picked up at time and gone to VAR it's a definite red.

Clarke would probably still play Kenny McLean ahead of him. Congrats to the laddie though, hell of an achievement. -
No idea 🤷♂️ Var should really be doing that job at the time I suppose

Do we even still have a compliance officer?
-
Club should be making a fuss over this. Anyone who’s played the game knows you don’t land like that unless you mean it.
-
They've got Rangers at the weekend. No danger the Compliance Officer is getting involved. Sweep sweep.
-
I think Grant will still be here, as part of next season's squad, he has never given the impression he wants to leave
-
A 3 year contract in any job would mean just that unless someone comes in with a suitable offer to buy the contract out. If we don't get a suitable offer in summer then we are perfectly entitled to expect Shankland to see out his contract here. Yes it will be marred by the tabloids who will spend the season speculating and there's the possibility of him signing a pre contract elsewhere but for me 1 or 2 million doesn't cut it as his goals next season would be worth much more than that to us. We have to get away from this mentality of devaluing the final year of a contract.
