I don't know what the financial difference would be but you're right it's truly another level in the Europa, almost like the step up to CL from Europa and we know what happens to the OF in the CL. I was also wondering if a favourable conference group was landed if potential points there, points make money, money that might help offset the lost Europa qualification money. Also coefficient points for both club and country come with match points.

He’s got another year in his deal. No danger he’s coming here and giving up that kind of money. -

On today’s showing you wouldn’t buy Shankland either. You don’t judge a player on one showing though. It appears YOU do right enough. Armstrong (and Kennedy)had an excellent season and would improve us -
Never thought of that, he would probably get it if he won a treble, but that should pretty much be expected from any OF manager, I still think McInnes would deserve it more.

Ive used East Calder as well. Just got one back last weekend actually, and it was £60, but they do an excellent job, and they look great.

Looked to me like it was bang in the middle of his crest and the umbro. Like I say, until the word intent (or lack of intent) is incorporated into the laws that could easily be a red. Since there's no way for a ref to judge intent he shouldn't be lenient. -

Is that the same City who have 115 charges of financial cheating pending against them?
-
Yeah? So they have a game plan to beat Rangers, so given it's not luck they're going to do it again, with your logic. You go bet on them for that next beating they give Rangers with their plan, which will be the second in their history. They should have come up with that plan years ago. 😉

oooft, Paterson and Bair on the end of Armstrong and Dhanda deliveries! -
Don't disagree with any of that. He does all that, but still has moments he gives up. And thats why he gets that lazy rep. 2nd goal last week an example. Stood and watched.

I thought it was actually just below the throat but my son said chest. The contact made a good noise, irrespective. 😮 -
Has anyone ever cheated on their better half - and lived to tell the tale?

we will certainly try and replace him directly with at least 1 CDM. Allan Campbell is my bet

Callum paterson posted on his Instagram “last home game” with his wife, does that mean he is leaving Sheffield Wednesday this year? I know he comes up every year but would be an excellent option considering we have no obvious right back and uncertainty over shankland. -

Well I’ve actually known for around a week, however my sister asked last night about me getting her and her man a ticket as they tried online but seeing as they don’t have an account couldn’t do it as it’s open for people with 15+ loyalty points only. He’s not a mascot, his football team will be playing on the pitch at half time, the wee man’s buzzing for it, he is a wee jambo 🇱🇻 unlike his parents. -

Fair point, although I'm actually not sure we have a style as such. We have Shankland and due to his mobility we are somewhat hamstrung, imo. Moving forward (prob without Shanks) I'd hope we play a much more dynamic, all pressing game. We're inherently slow right now, move the deadwood on and replace, we're heading in the right direction with the pre-contracts. -
That will be hard to do. I can't remember in my time (and that's a long time) seeing a better ball-winning / ball-retaining defensive midfielder than Beni. I'm not sure where the new signings like Dhanda or the returning Hof will fit into a midfield without Beni, but if we can't replace or keep him we will have to change our style. On a slightly different note about him; he's not yet up to full fitness IMO, he had a long time out and usually fades late in games. Maybe yesterday's fitness issue was related to that.

He’s undoubtedly one of our best players but if hes not signing a contract there is no point playing him the last 4 games. Give Tait the experience.

Sorry to quote you again, I'm not looking for an argument! 😉 Not sure if you were there yesterday but Wright's challenge looked awful at the game. Nowhere near the ball and caught Shankland right at the bottom of the rib cage. -
Yes . It is from the promo shots for the sequel “ Hibs and Hibser “
