I don’t think there’s any Scotland based centre halves that I’d consider tbh -

Well said Kevin good article https://www.heraldscotland.com/opinion/24346671.snp-dont-give-friar-tuck-scottish-summer-holidays/ -
Annnyyyway, the Rangers fan may well have a point about their goal being chalked off as that wee diving ***** Taylor was holding Raskin before he pushed Hart. They can’t deal with poor decisions that we have to, a real shame tbh 😆

Again, it depends which side of the fence you are on. To many people in the world, the US are the dictators and we are their lapdog. For example, Saudi were responsible for 9/11 but they own too much of the west now for them to be targeted- it would be bad for our financial institutions and blue chip stocks, but someone needed a beating so the US and it’s ally’s decided to make up intelligence that Iraq had WMD and we killed a million of them. Even if we look past direct military action the US decided to replace the following governments; Iran 1953 Guatemala 1954 Congo 1960 Dominican Republic 1960 South Vietnam 1963 Brazil 1964 Chile 1973 America has been at peace for only 17 years in its history. It has been at war for nearly 95% of its existence. It spends 37% of the worlds total military spend. Putin is a gangster. America are warlords, with a great PR department. If we were really concerned about Ukraines ability to defend itself we wouldn’t have led them up the garden path in 1991.

This is a heartwarming thread, good luck to the OP in getting a fans group together.👍
-
To be honest, they only exist on here. I don't know why people are getting bent out of shape about it. As I keep saying, it's no big deal.
-
That's assuming that everyone that works for Sarwar's family company is a member of USDAW. How would USDAW know non-union members pay details?

Would be interested to see what you've seen. 👍 Few tests ive seen show that the batteries are designed to last the life of the car, say 15 to 20 years. Typically people change their car every 4 or 5 years. Once used they will get repurposed too so will have 2 "lives". Lithium Ion batteries is a bit of a catch all term as well which will cover phone batteries, which these are not. Trying not to sound like a shill as I'm genuinely interested in the pros and cons and have an open mind for both sides. I've just not seen anything yet that suggests the batteries would be an issue long term. Out of warranty of course a defective battery (as in unusable not one thats slightly degraded) will write off the car. FWIW my GF who would be the main driver of the car has decided she is likely going to get a 3 year old T-Roc instead.

I think this is a gimmick. I can't see how itll ever be enforceable, especially at a time where people's rights are protected in everything else, and you can identify as pretty much whatever you like these days.

My brother in law bought a Hearts top for his daughter as she lives in Galway a massive fan of GAA
-
I'm all for that tbh. Never in my life have I been so disillusioned with politics as I am now. Can barely tell any of them apart these days
-
Yeah i can imagine, was 20 years ago i was there, the first day of the smoking ban, went to the Head of Kinsale, then up to Killarney and back. Wonderful few days with friends in a lovely part of the world. Dublin was just your usual bustling capital city, preferred Cork tbh. When you do come over if you want a taste of home we sell Murphys in the (Athletic Arms) Diggers.

I reckon we have some closet Galwegian Jambos given the county colours.

My wife's from Naas in Kildare so head over there a fair bit. When we first go together, people would always ask "are you celtic or rangers?" and most were surprised when I said neither. Got friends in Greystones, Foxrock and Galway who all keep an eye on our results now as do my brothers and father in law. Had most of them at a match when they've been over and were impressed with Tynecastle and the support. Anyway, good luck getting something together.

Absolutely 👍🏽🤞 -
I'm in my 7th decade and yet to encounter a Celtic leaning Hearts fan. Methinks that you're reading too much into some anti-The Rangers posts.
-
Not sure what to believe sometimes and it is what is putting me off buying one. Some people on here saying that batteries will last and cover up to at least 100 thousand miles before degrading.
-
In a truly financial sense, spending 40 million or so to generate 5-6k extra seats is not the most attractive proposition. We’d likely generate a maximum of 3-4 million per season so payback isn’t great. However, another way to look at it is capital investment for long term revenue gains. We’d pay around 2.5 million per season over 25 years to finance that (so it would still be revenue positive). And of course, there is the Benny factor. A two tier Wheatfield with corners sloping down to the Gorgie and the Roseburn, giving Tynecastle a total capacity of 26-27k would be awesome. The only downside would be that there wouldn’t initially be so much pressure not to give the OF the full Roseburn.
-
Absolutely. Challenging the OF and doing better in Europe would raise our profile. It won't happen overnight but I believe we're on the right road to end up with the best version of HMFC we can realistically get.

Thoughts are that we have done the same as we do every year and say we have less money than we do. Would you prefer we done it the Rangers way and claim we have a ‘warchest’ then get the piss taken out of us in having to overpay for players? Our budget will 100% be more than it has ever been since the vlad days, we’re just not going to shout it from the rooftops! Until someone is sold or leaves our only real position of need is right back, we’ll have more than enough in the bank for that -

Yes we definitely need to keep drumming it home to them which club is the big noise in this city.
