Correct, I’m sure the response was along the lines of “Ha no chance”.
  4. Shanks to hit the 30 goals for the season today!

Strasbourg, Lorient and Troyes not Happy....

Best part is , they are just handing over the keys to the office to him by having BK perform a review of the football department

    Edinburgh History

Proper winters as well. I wonder if they said, at least we have it easier than our grandparents had.

    Stevenson article on Shanks

Most likely scenario he sits on the bench for the Euros, Rangers offer us £1.5 million and sign him as a squad player on a bigger salary than we can afford and he sits on the bench for them.

    Leaving Edinburgh (thoughts and experiences)

I left Edinburgh in 84 and still miss it, but not the traffic. Ended up in dalgety bay in 92 and can't see me ever leaving there. Incidentally one of my grandsons lives in Cairneyhill where his wife grew up; don't think it's you though😀😀

    Had Rangers Won This Game

They made absolutely no effort to clear the pitch that night. If we had been neck and neck at the top of the league, they would have ground staff and snow ploughs out clearing the pitch that night, total hypocrisy, Dundee should tell them to go **** themselves

    Leaving Edinburgh (thoughts and experiences)

Lol, this is where I’m at, I’m nearly 45 and i just cant be bothered with any of that, I hear everyone’s opinions especially about probably never being able to afford to come back to live but for me I’ll be here often with the football and work, I’m basically just reversing it so now most of my days are quiet with the odd visit to Edinburgh where as before most of my days were Edinburgh with the odd one away to a quiet area. And again for the record I love Edinburgh 🙂

    Leaving Edinburgh (thoughts and experiences)

The best advice I'd give would be to move somewhere with a train station. Some of the bus services from Fife/The Lothians are absolutely brutal, taking well over an hour to get into town.
  12. Cheers The last game I attended was in that lounge as a guest. 2-2 draw with Hamilton 2020. Mix of ill health and covid stopped me, then IPTV games, I lost the will attend. Last time I won hospitality tickets we beat Motherwell 1-0, Lafferty goal. Got trashed. Will behave this time.

don't think that is the same docherty. the one at hull greg docherty while he did play a few games for hibs, wasn't it matt docherty who laughed at the prospect of going back to hibs

Places you have never been but would love to go to

Burntisland is good enough but you I recommend you leaving the bright lights and exotic smells and heading further west to the secluded, charming seaside village of Kinghorn or back in an easterly direction until you reach the historic, tranquil Aberdour. 👍

Doubt it , but it does highlight how successful the BK involvement is for the clubs who are not at the top of the pyramid . What ever makes Hibs think they will be any different is beyond me . I seriously Foley and chums knew who Hibs were before Kensel turned up with the begging bowl , and I doubt even more if he gives a **** how well they do

I'm not sure it matters where you are when you're not on top of the pyramid. As far as I can see, Lorient don't have any players on loan from Bournemouth. It only highlights the complete disregard these multi club owners have for the rest. Lorient will be fleeced of any half decent players and they'll rebuild. Although I'm not sure their fans as a gullable as Hibs fans.

What are you Listening to Right Now?

I was a big fan of hazel O’Connor . She was the first concert I saw at the odeon . Duran Duran were supporting her . These were the days you couldn’t wait for Thursday night to see your favourites on totp ( however it was more mainstream music on it ) I remember hazel causing a stir with that a bra on ! She dyed her hair that awful colour too . She wanted to get her image away from “ Breaking glass “ ! It looked awful .but she helped me through my teen years ! Thanks Hazel

Was hardly an embarrassment to the league.
  20. Absolutely 💯 but I’m too far up in the posh seats in the main to get that in his lug hole 😉

    Steven Naismith Appreciation Thread

Your expectation was we were going to struggle, looks like SN was right as we certainly exceeded your expectations.
  22. Should we prevail then I recommend a stroll back into the city centre as the greetin' last time was absolutely tremendous.
  23. Careful now. If he does too well today could rekindle Ranger's interest. And other clubs. I'll be happy for him to be quietly effective in a convincing win.

Not sure why people want Lorient relegated. Funny yes, but does it not move the vermin up the pyramid?
  25. Please do not lose the usual early goal FFS.
