Well said. We bring better players in to the squad and hopefully players like Forrest raise their game to compete with new players. Only at the time when they are not raising game to compete for places then we can look at moving them on. Forrest is well worth his place in squad at the moment.

I just watched Jak Jones putting Bingham in a great snooker with the cue ball tucked behind the pink in the green corner and the only red down near the black spot. Bingham obliged by tapping the cue ball into the black ball, so 7 points to Jones, but he still needed one more snooker before clearing up to win the frame. Why, then, did Jones not ask for the white ball to be put back and give Bingham another chance to eff it up? What's the rules on that? (He'd had a similar opportunity a couple of shots before when Bingham had missed everything. I didn't understand why he didn't get Bingham to play again, but then he went and laid that 7 point snooker. )

Bingham vs Jones is utter shit. Tbf this year's championship has been particularly poor.

I was at a Six (maybe even Five) Nations game at Murrayfield, it was a while ago.... Gavin Hastings had fumbled a pass for a certain try. A voice, in a perfect Morningside Edinburgh accent calls out from just behind me, and quite close to the pitch as Hastings was walking back - 'Gavin!, Gavin!'. He probably thought it was someone he went to school with, looked up smiling and as far as I could see made eye contact with the bloke. In the same posh accent - 'You're just a big soapy tit w*nk!'. The smile faded but there was much hooraying from the boy's chums.

Game v sevco , i was in wheatfield section F lower, two rows from front...i think. anyway, gazza was playing...clearly carrying a bit of weight... he waddles near to where im sat ... not sure why, but i shouted Gascoigne, you roundabout.....much chortling around me , Gazza turns , smile and thumbs up cant recall the score...had been in diggers for a shandy or 5 before the game.

I think a part of the problem here is we have one outstanding attacking player whose contribution, performance and value to the team dwarfs anyone else. The others are not as good. It doesn’t mean that they’re not good in their own right.
