Hope he has a miserable season next season and Is emptied before Xmas, oh aye and hope he spends millions on sh!te players.

    Kyosuke Tagawa

Yep it was very apparent, Rowles is not at the level you need against the OF, i feel we need to replace him with a better player or we will not progress any further imo, he really should be taking the ball off of Cantwell before he scores the 2nd goal imo, he again goes in half heartedly and fails to win the ball allowing Cantwell to get the shot off, I would keep him as a squad player but he is not good enough in the big games.

Summer 24 Transfers - Beni signs 2 year deal

You sure about that? Pretty much every google hit says he's right footed, plays right centre mid or right wing.

    30 goal Lawrence Shankland

My concern is I’ll be too… and I’m only 37😂

    30 goal Lawrence Shankland

I’ll be long deed before we find another 30+ goal a season striker again.

    Philippe Clement

I think he's actually managed to make me dislike him more than Rodgers, which is quite the feat.
  12. Watt-Zeefuik

    30 goal Lawrence Shankland

Yep, wingers and wingbacks need pace. Central strikers need timing, vision, touch, and mental sharpness.

    Vargas

    Outstanding! 😇

    Trouble in the stands

Just to add to this, there is a clip online of rangers fans fighting each other as they exit and some bird bottles some one

    Cracking season

EL groups would be nice from a financial perspective but I'd almost rather see us hit the Conference knockout stages. That shouldn't be a bridge too far for us at this point.

Summer 24 Transfers - Beni signs 2 year deal

They're all adaptable except Armstrong. Armstrong is a winger or wing back. Spittal could play as an eight in a 451 with Dhanda ahead in the ten role. Or Vice Versa. They could both play on the wing as well but coming into the middle. The movement will have them starting in the middle drifting out wide, back into middle. I guess Spittal is more effective centrally but Dhanda best roaming around. McCowan, who is contracted to Dundee, is more a lefty. I'd have him as a defensive winger. Eight or ten roles as well. Good option, better than Forrest for picking out a pass. Training will sort out who plays where no doubt. I can see Spittal and Shankland being Aces through the middle as goal scorers. Crikey, Oda and Vargas on top of that. Tagawa coming into the mix aswell. Vince McMahon gif...

    Cracking season

It's not been a GREAT season but it has been a very good one. We've broken some records and done some things we haven't done for a long time. We should all be proud of that. We still have room for improvement and certain players need to go. Let's all keep it real. HHGH

Blair Spittal plays on the right doesn't he? He did v us in the last game v Well anyway. That's where Armstrong and McCowan play too. Seems unlikely that we'll sign one or both then I guess. Dhanda is centre or left I think, kind of like Barrie. It'll be interesting to see how we fit everyone in. Oda might be back to being our impact sub.

The whole situation is very similar mate, yes, my thoughts too

    Cracking season

I've enjoyed the season. The goals, the quality of the goals, the tight results. The final position of third, gaining group stage European football. I would've liked a better performance in the cup semis. A lot to improve on. Happy to retain key players.

Well, you might want to do some reading, then you'll be informed; you were in the group that were aimed at That means the comment wasn't 'smart-arsed', it means you're another person that isn't informed enough, posts stuff on the end of threads that's been posted and answered already and now you're trying to wriggle out of that Not a crime, of course, just a bit ignorant, most people who don't read the thread declare this upfront in their post, so they're a bit more considerate

Not an easy volley to just easily place in the corner. Well composed under pressure to equalise. Placed it just enough away from the keepers reach. Great finish, great volley. Magic header from Kent.

Calling it as it is is worthless, needless and pointless, though, the point is that others that don't judge early are looking at the case in great detail, whereas the overreactors are wanting instant results that are unreasonable to expect; they types did it with Naismith and Vargas, Nieuwenhof, Oda and many others There are a number of obstacles to overcome with some players and Coaches, the time has to be put in and it's as simple as that Calling it as it is is telling JFK he's been shot, what's that going to do? -

    Smashed thru £17 Million

Great post. The success of the clubs that aren't Bournemouth is immaterial to Foley. As you say, they're literally just pawns. I have very little confidence Hibs will see any tangible benefit. They MIGHT see a year long loan of young players, perhaps Bournemouth sign Lennon Miller for example, maybe there will be a loan to Hibs for 12 months. But the reality is that you can't sell loanees. The goal will never be to make profit for Hibs, its all in service to Bournemouths success. Foley would burn 100 clubs to the ground if it meant Bournemouth retained top flight status for another year. Hibs mean nothing, I'll be shocked if he ever makes an appearance at Easter Road, or could tell you when they last won a cup off the top of his head. On the failure of Hibs fan ownership attempt - What I don't get is that Hibs have some famous & wealthy supporters, The Proclaimers, Irvine Welsh, Andy Murray, Dougray Scott, Fish.. then you have prominant people like Ian Blackford and I'm sure others. They had an opportunity to band together and put together a sustainable model that could have taken the reigns from Farmer/Petrie but they just couldn't do it. Visionless halfwitts that seem purely to exist to take points off us occasionally and celebrate like they've won the lottery. The thread about the Bistro at Oriam/ club culture got me thinking, and one of the best things about the club culture at Hearts is that losing to those ****ing losers isn't acceptable and everyone associated with the club knows that, and has known that for decades now. It transcends generations of players. We are getting financially stronger, and its great to see. One of the worst things under Levein was lurching from one disaster to another, and never being free of problems. Felt similar to the latter years under Vlad. We seem to have a completely professional set up from board level down, and its amazing. I'm not a monarchist or anything like that, but I genuinely think Budge deserves a damehood for her services to Scottish Football, Hearts & the city of Edinburgh. What she's done for Hearts, although hasn't always been plain sailing is truly special and deserves more recognition.
