Nah, no problem, mate 👍 There's 2 new branches on this thread and both are more pleasant than the original branch

That's right, obviously doesn't look good for Scotland achieving 12th or better next Season in Europe, so next Season and the Season after could be the last for a while and certainly CL Automatic slots for League Winner So, that makes building squad quality essential as by that time we'll be filling out our 5 year coefficient card and the 5th year will be limited to 2.500 if we don't win a play-off

Correct on all points, exactly where I'm at on it.

To hibs.net - here is how we're feeling tonight ( Monty sacked )

Yes all correct probably. But lets be honest, top 6 is a success any season for Hibs. Or it's certainly their bar. Like I guess we wouldn't call "top 4" a success in and of itself, 3rd is our success. Hibs top 6 is their bar, but top 5 is success. The sooner they realise that and use it as a platform to build from, the better it'd be for them. As it is, all the trying to wedge themselves into the 3rd force debate constantly with nothing to back it up other than words properly holds them back. They have a complete dreamworld culture about them rather than knuckling down, setting realistic targets and trying to beat them. -
Dortmund, and German clubs in general, just seem to get it. The fan experience looks top drawer over there.

Murray is out of contract but surely we wouldn’t stand in Boyces way if he wanted to go back there? -
Myriad of issues with this obviously, but theres 2 key points that stick out to me. 1. Other nations who have national service such as the Nordics invest in their young people and citizens. The reason these places are commonly ranked as the best places to live or admired is due to the fact their governments look after their populations. Young adults who are invested in both before and after are asked to pay this back somewhat in the form of national service. The UK government give nothing to the population and have an MO of wealth extraction from everyone other than the inner circles at the top. Its a culture of take take take. 2. And somewhat following on from no 1, national service in non-combat roles could indeed be a good thing for those looking to build skills or get into work. Using national service to support orgs such as the NHS which have had billions ripped out of them due to decades of throttling funding or filtering cash into private pockets is the ultimate slap in the face. The government are essentially now asking the public help fix these organisation through slave labour, when they themselves happily strip them for private gain. You bet they'll then blame the public for their failing due to people avoiding helping in the form of national service.

I would guess that if he was given a prison sentence then he would automatically appeal it and Biden would move to pardon Trump (if memory serves then he'd have to give up his appeal which would be hilarious). I've said before - house arrest could be one solution to Trump's safety requirements.

I think we can narrow the gap to a point where we have a punchers chance every few years if the planets align For me the most important next step is to get to the point where we can qualify for group / table stage Europe through the qualification rounds . If we get to that point , then we get that extra 5 - 8 million most seasons , that would keep us ahead of the nine and get us closer to the two Then it is a case of smart recruitment , continued off field revenue growth , and keeping our finances in a place where we do not get in to debt and have our players cherry picked from us by the old firm or lower leagues down south for peanuts . So that means wages need to go up to fund this as well Small steps and to paraphrase George Harrison it will take time and money

Clownfunding surely? -
It is pretty disgraceful. But, like someone above was alluding to, corporate tickets go for big money or keep the sponsors happy and ultimately where a chunk of the big prize money that these clubs want comes from.
-
Is that a YES or a NO - or a desperate evasion of the question?

Cracking weekend that 👌

Playing the Kingsknowe open on Saturday, anyone know what sort of condition it is in? Having seen the photos of some Edinburgh courses last week there's a bit trepidation that it'll be soaking 😬

So Israel bomb the shit out of an area they themselves have designated as a safe zone for palestines to flee. Then israel admit they have ****ed up and say it was a ‘tragic mishap’. And we still have folk defending that bombing.

I think my total on the website said £34 but it took £38 or so from my Revolut. Was raging as I put £34 in specifically for it but took it out my Euros I had just exchanged for my holiday 🤣

My opinion is based on my own thoughts. I seldom read the media. I judged all by myself that it was a nonsense bill and a complete waste of time. Toodle pip old chap/chapess/horse/sheep or whatever you self identify as. -
is it any different from the sales teams at Heineken getting tickets as long as they take a client on a freebie...?

Some interesting ideas. An unpopular opinion of mine is our future lies away from Tynecastle. I honestly think that “if” we really want to take the club to another level we have to move in order to achieve it. There will come a point where we outgrow Tynie in its current configuration. We may actually be at that point? Economically it may make perfect sense to stop expanding a bit here and a bit there and build a complete new stadium. A caveat We’ve only recently finished the new main stand so can’t imagine the club hierarchy even considering a new build for at least 25-30 years.

If we opt to cut revenue streams I wonder if fans will be understanding when the quality on the park is reduced?

That's what it was - thanks guys. Order submitted

So if I decide (genuinely not fraudulently) that I want to live as a woman for the rest of my life then I can freely use female toilets from today, under the Equalities Act. I don't need to have seen a Dr or have a GRC. Is that incorrect? -
Still not answering the question. What would you do to get the Hamas guys?
