He has been one of my favourite Hearts players in recent years. A player we could rely on to show up in any big game. That kind of player is worth their weight in gold. It's been sad to see injuries take their toll and keep him out the team. As hard as it is to say, it is definitely the right time for a parting of the ways. He just couldn't physically cut it anymore. Hopefully he will get the reception he deserves tomorrow. Thank you for everything Pete. You've done a sterling job for Hearts and you will be missed. Don't be a stranger. The welcome mat will always be rolled out for you at Tynecastle.

I've never heard that song before. It sounds a little like Simon and Garfunkel!

Yes they do. They wanted me at work, but I refused as I'm feeling like shite, and didn't want to pass onto my colleagues.

Not for me. We need a proper defender at RB. CP doesn't fall into that category. He's not gonna shift anybody in midfield either. Resounding no! -

I wouldn't imagine many directors from that era are still with us tbh.

What does "best" mean 'n'all'n'anyways? If I were picking Cohen, I'd probably opt for: I've been listening to this for 50 years, and the third verse still gets me every time I hear it - maybe the finest piece of poetry I've ever heard. But could I call it the best song ever written? Dunno.

Does your work still have any protocols on this John? Otherwise just treat it like the cold/flu it is (now that so many of us have resistance) and go to the game.

Nor so sure about that. Tait flatters to deceive for me from what I have seen so far. Neither look that convincing so far but they ate both young and will improve given the chance -

Just watched the first episode of Bodkin on Netflix. An American, an English woman and an ex-pat Irish woman go to make a podcast in a remote rural village in Cork. They're trying to do a human interest crime story about some people who mysteriously disappeared 25 years before. But it turns out that most of the village folk have something to hide - and a lot of what they're hiding doesn't seem to be 25 years old. So far, so good.

When fit he was a great player. Had injuries not ruined so much of his time at Hearts he would have been a great player (if he was fit in 19/20 season, I doubt we would have ended bottom.) Seemed a great person and well respected in the dressing room. Hope he goes on to enjoy the rest of his career, and is not a stranger to us in the future.

A winger and a right back and we’re good in my opinion. Obvs a striker if Shanks goes. Early business done well so unless we get a chance of real quality we’ll do fine with another couple👍 Looking forward next season already. -
You get injured on the job thats what happens. I imagine you suffered a job time injury you would expect to get paid or are you telling us you wouldn't accept the compensation. If thats the case you have far too much money and not enough sense.

Like many others, I'm a pledger for life and have increased my pledge over the years. Obviously, in the first instance , we were pledging money to save the club. Once it was saved, we continued pledging to buy the club. Now we've secured ownership, we're pledging to help grow the club. Although I always intended to keep my pledge going, I thought that maybe, once we'd secured ownership of the club, some pledgers might see that as job done and we might have seen a slight drop off in pledges. I wouldn't begrudge anyone who had helped us take ownership of the club from deciding they'd done their bit. However, the big surprise for me is that after we secured ownership, the pledges actually increased. We went from around £125k a month on average to nearer £145k. That's incredible, and hopefully we can grow that amount even further and the FOH can succeed in their efforts to bring the next generation of pledgers through.
