Both teams could do with winning this - Udinese are away to Frosinone , the other major player in the relegation battle, in their last game and Empoli are at home to Roma. Verona should be able to stay up - away to relegated Salernitana tomorrow. Frosinone leading 1-0 at Monza.

My son who follows Crawley has been telling me about this guy all season. He is 28 and scored 25 goals this season 👏 👏 To be fair Crawley have a few decent players. Hopefully they are playing league 1 football next season.

Despite the tremendous come back yesterday, it somewhat masked another insipid display against Rangers, who just have our number. We were very fortunate to take the lead, Rangers spurned a few moments before we scored and then in the second half Rangers were all over us until they scored the third and maybe became complacent. we have not figured it out against them. We did not have an effective enough press ams we really struggled against their press. whether McKay is part of the problem in our ineffective press, I don’t know, possibly. I think we need to play a 4-5-1 or 4-3-3 against them and not 4-2-3-1. We just seem to get bossed in midfield.

This is based on nothing but my opinion but I can’t see McInnes going to work under Mackay - I think he’d feel there could be too much interference/McInnes wouldn’t have enough control.

I've criticised the man as a manager but on this day,him and his management team got it spot on. We went man for man and matched them. You can't stand off the old firm and hope for the best ultimately they are going to sense that fear,and grow in confidence when you aren't offering any threat back. I've criticised Levein for being defensive,this day he got it spot on and I believe at Tynecastle this is the way to play them infact anyone at Tynecastle. You can't respect them give them time,they have to know they are in a battle from the first whistle,regrouping and allowing there defence to play out is wrong, press them high, they don't want to kick it long they want to play out. Force them to kick it long or let them play out risking a mistake to be made. Fitness levels need to be high for this to work,but if those at the club can't get those fitness levels to the required standard, then they need replaced. It's driving the standards no team should outrun us in this league,that's the basic Minimum requirement watching Hearts for me. What's it like playing Hearts offtttt incredibly aggressive,up yer arse constantly niggling away, a real set mentality and mindset and the fans will follow and support. If we get beat playing this way no complaints.
