Just had a look on Shit.net and it really is sad stuff. The yams have blah blah stolen money blah blah pensioners money blah blah. However strangely enough there is no mention that only two years ago they were bumping the taxpayers for 5 million. Talk about living in cloud cuckoo land!!!!

They can't compete with us on a regular basis so they need to find other ways of hurting us so try to tarnish our image.

Listen guys. This was meant as a bit of Friday afternoon fun. I'm not trying to upset anyone. I've been going to Tynecastle for 65 years so my credentials probably out shoot any of yours.

Morning lads. The OP was quoting the thread name from Hibs.net verbatim. You're all very, very, very good Hearts fans, but your simmering rage about some letters may stand down now.

Now, to business. I don't read Hibs.net often, but when I do I note that it's almost exclusively 60 year old men close to tears about thieving and corruption.

It may extend their already meagre time left on earth if they had the small epiphany that - quite literally - NO ONE ****ING CARES. No one. In fact, most of us think it's utterly hilarious. Make it peace with it old fellas. Make peace with it and smile as I use some daft dame in Bosnia's last tenner to blow my nose on. It's for your own good.

Great to see GG and Boston back in such blistering form. 5-1 was such a hammer blow and their drooling hatred just won't dissipate.

If they knew what entertainment value they were they would desist.

A few years ago, Tom Farmer bought hibs debt from HBOS in what was in effect a pence in the pound deal (not sure of exact figues but they effectively said, look what happened to Hearts...... you dont want us to shaft you through admin do you? Take £1m now and write off x million.

Wanting out of Scottish football, they took the money and cut their losses.  HBOS were tax payer owned at the time hence we have all been stiffed.

Hibs fans will deny this ever happened of course but it is in the public domain

This spangle wants a petition so a question can be raised in Parliament. Ah bless him :laugh:

Maybe a question to the Scottish parliament might at least embarrass those involved.

I think unlike the UK parliament you do not need a petition although 10,000 will get a response in the UK parliament - I found this: How petitions work

You create a petition. Only British citizens and UK residents can create or sign a petition.
You get 5 people to support your petition. We’ll tell you how to do this when you’ve created your petition.
We check your petition, then publish it. We only reject petitions that don’t meet the standards for petitions.
The Petitions Committee reviews all petitions we publish. They select petitions of interest to find out more about the issues raised. They have the power to press for action from government or Parliament.
At 10,000 signatures you get a response from the government.
At 100,000 signatures your petition will be considered for a debate in Parliament.

The people on that thread generally don’t understand anything about limited liability companies and the administration process. ??‍♂️

It's fantastic isn't it?

They must know, surely, 100% that we find them hilarious.  They get the absolute piss ripped out of them relentlessly on here.

They are so deluded they probably just don't see that they are nothing more than a comedy routine to 99% of people.

H1B5 are basically at fault for food banks and U.K. child poverty.

They also conveniently forget that they were in receivership until Farmer showed up.

They really are a deluded bunch of crayon munching, slavering simpletons who are envious to the point were they make up hysterical pish to fit in with their mind set. When the Natural order of things resumes, which it will, they'll probably struggle to cope with day to day life.

When we went into admin, Sirgays fantasy became like a religion to those cockwombles and even now a small part of them still wants to believe that our stand will fall down in a sleight wind or Ann is secretly plotting to feck us over.

If the roasters on that thread fall into the 60+ age category as you suggest, then they are old enough to:

1. have heard their Grandfathers recall the time Hibs Treasurer absconded to Canada with the Church poor fund.

2. Recall the Duff & Gray debacle

3. Understand the simple realities of their clubs recent deal with a taxpayer-owned bank.

But then, they don't 'do' facts do they?

The Hibs-Hbos-Farmer deal is a very real and very recent arrangement.     It's not some obscure event from the past that has been reimagined, misrepresented or twisted.

Let us be clear.. entirely within the football rules,  Hibs and Farmer were able to partially reduce their debt by way of the arrangement specified above.    The bank accepted settlement of around £4,000,000 short of what was owed.    They borrowed money that was not repaid and achieved this result because their creditor accepted that they were not able to repay it.

Unpaid debt.    Bad debt.    Lived beyond their means.

Another fact... a lot of Hibs fans do not recognise this ever occured.

I understood it was conditional on Hibs having no loan facilities.  Put more simply, they can never borrow again and I presume that includes overdrafts which in essence are loans.

As I say, that's my recollection.  Could be wrong.

As you are 37, you probably haven't heard of Bob Crampsey. As well as being a Scottish Football commentator on STV,  he was also a journalist and much-respected Scottish football historian, specialising in Queens Park. IIRC, he explained in his book 100 Years of Scottish Football how an early Treasurer at Hibernians did a runner to Canada with Church Funds. This was at a time when poverty was rife and when such funds were used to alleviate this evil. BC was quite scathing in his commentary. One can only conclude that this did indeed happen.

These Hibs.net threads always go the same way:

Simpleton Hibs supporter has too much to drink and his impotent frustration and hatred towards us drives him to start a ‘Yam cheats’ thread on Hibs.net

Lots of equally simple, drunk and frustrated Hibs fans all pile in with the same chat.

Some way simpler than the rest Hibs fan takes it a step too far and comes out with something ludicrous, like a letter starting with “Dear Mr Gustas” or an idea about petitioning the Scottish Parliament for claryfikashun.

Greenginger comes out with bollox about the legal side of things that he barely understands, let alone has the ability to articulate.

Cropleywasgod turns up and tries hard not to call them all thick as ****, but essentially proves they all are by explaining how it actually works.

Tears

Snotters

Tantrums

Drops off the first page until the next time one of them gets too blitzed.

Rinse

Repeat
