I'm sure they decided to do a cash gate last minute for the partick game.  Can't see why they can't just do it for every game, open a couple turnstyles.

So we announced a cash gate at 2:15pm on the day of the game. Ridiculous.

I think We've scored about the same number of goals at Tynecastle this season as we had at the same time in 80/81.

IIRC our first home league goal was in October.

There is the same kinda air of hopelessness about the current team, I feel.

Having said that, me and my mates. wouldn't have missed it for the sense of humor alone, that was  kicking about on Supporters Buses at the time.

Yep.

In a twisted kind of way, it was a great time to be following Hearts!

Pre computer era Disco, when you made your own entertainment,  some of it not in a good way!

As you know.

A final count from me. Sales have picked up this morning, but are slower than last week.  I think we could be struggling to hit 16,000.

2,041 seats left, estimated 14,443 sold, 124 since the last count.

I'd expect more hospitality, but equally so, I'd expect fewer away fans.

They should have a vendor, standing out in the plaza if need be, until kick off.

I think there's something very wrong about not being able to buy a ticket from two hours before kick off.

Aye, gone are the days when "walk-ups" could decide to go to the game at 2.30, roll out the pub, jump into a taxi and into the ground by 3.
