Perry Kitchen - USA International signs!

Morgaro Gomis

Would imagine it will be a youngster. Possibly the boy Mark Russell from Morton?

Although for it to "bolster" the squad, I guess it would mean signing now which means an out of contract player. So maybe not him.

Out of contract player sounds more likely

Robbie Neilson twin , no doubt. Sack him.

I think you've said the same thing in every one of your 7 posts. Most obvious one yet.

Bolster their squad means a new player now. Must be a forward

Kitchen ? capped three times and over 150 appearances for MLS side DC United between 2011-2015 ? interested Belgian giants Anderlecht five years ago.

Hearts boss Robbie Neilson and director of football Craig Levein believe they have pulled off a coup in persuading one of the MLS? most effective native stars to commit to the Gorgie outfit.

6ft tall, highly athletic defensive midfielder.

Can play anywhere across the back line as well.

I'm guessing that Pallardo will be leaving at the end of the season.

Very interesting. DC United are more or less my "local" MLS club, and he has definitely been one of the club's most highly regarded players over the past few years. Still quite young and has a lot of potential to develop further in his game, but is quite an effective defensive midfielder and passer of the ball. Will be interesting to see how long the deal is, but I see this as being a decent upgrade on Pallardo.

Looks like DC United really really wanted him to stay but he was set on a move to Europe. Their mvp a couple of seasons ago and still only 24

How is he technically? We assume he's a unit of course

Bring Back Paulo Sergio

The La Favorita pizza was good last night so I doubt we need another Kitchen

Looks like a good signing with great potential to develop and sell.

Pallardo has had an awful season so this certainly looks like a key acquisition in a position we've struggled with.

Makes the Don Cowie signing even more baffling!

I guess he's more of a playmaker so he's an upgrade for Gomis.

Perry Kitchen.

What a name.

Hope he doesn't turn out to be a Gordon Ramsay

Technically, ok. Nothing special in that regard though. Definitely has a presence about him with both his stature and a very physical/tenacious style of play. Likes a tackle and won't get bullied in midfield.

He was apparently known for his post training discipline. Regularly the last to leave the stadium after a session.

There are two reasons I like this video, one of them is it has our new player Perry Kitchen-

So basically we've signed The Stig?

Some say he can eat oysters...without breaking the shell.

Hopefully he's the kind of guy who leads by example...the kind that drives the team forward with his energy.

Quite excited by this signing.

Been watching him play for DC United the last few years, one of the best players on a pretty successful team and knocking on the door of a very decent international side.

This is a really impressive signing.

Bring Back Paulo Sergio

When do we get him if it's outside the transfer window?

Free agent, he will be available for Saturday.

Only one thing tho, he's been a bit injury prone.

Can't think of any!

Nor can I!

Perhaps London Hearts will be able to inform us.

What was our last American player?

That's one thing I was wondering as well.

I thought he played almost every game for the last three years?

I don't mind if he gets an injury as a result of smashing Scott Brown into the ground.

Liking this signing. Hopefully he isn't Kenny Anderson in disguise!

Had a quick look on London hearts, pretty certain we haven't had an American play for us before.
