Certainly looked in to Robbie tells it as it is http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34099914 Hearts head coach Robbie Neilson blamed referee Willie Collum after a 3-2 defeat by Hamilton at New Douglas Park ended their 100% league record. Collum sent off Hearts' Callum Paterson for a challenge on Darian MacKinnon with the visitors leading 2-1. Neilson disputed the red card and even claimed he was expecting one of his players to be sent off when he found out who the officials were. "The game has been ruined by a decision that is not a sending-off," he said. "We are sitting 2-1 up and we get a red card against us that I don't think is a red card and it totally changed the flow of the game. "We actually practised during the week going down to 10 men because of the environment we're coming to and the officials who are taking the game and we have to do that. "In the recent past, the statistics involving the officials have shown a lot of red cards against us, so we have to prepare for it. Add in an assault on king and another on walker and you begin to see a wee pattern. Also noticed collum playing advantage when one of our defenders was fouled but the ball ended up back with our keeper and collum waved he was playing advantage, what fekkin advantage?? H1b5 fans have made a lot of noise about CT and he doesn't appear to referee their games these days. Don't know or recall if H1b5 FC/Petrie have remarked on him but it appears to have worked. Collum will almost certainly get the gig on 26/9 at Parkhead. Say something now and perhaps prevent that happening. If not, and he is appointed, exert some subtle pressure beforehand along the lines of "practising with 10 men". I'm genuinely reticent about this post, all very H1b5.nut and all that, but we know what will happen at Parkhead if he's there: soft Celtic penalty, Hearts down to 10...and probably all in the first 5 minutes. If he gets a fine, or a ban, I would expect us to appeal it, and threaten to take it further if the SFA persist in sticking to their guns. We have the stats to back up Robbie's statement and to justify why he might decide to train with 10 men. We can also point to numerous incidents in today's game which show that Collum was inconsistent in his approach in dealing with each of the teams. Why not compile yellow & red card and penalty statistics for games of ours he's reffereed and do the same for all other current refs. I'm In no doubt that it would reflect very badly on him and provided all the evidence we need to support a request to get him removed from our games. Did Robbie mention anything in his interview about sorting out the communication between Ozturk and Alexander, or teaching Rossi how to stay goal side of the striker, or our full backs on how to stop crosses coming into the box, or Buaben how to close down opponents to stop them shooting? Collum is a **** and he absolutely changed the flow of the game today. But he wasn't to blame for our shocking defending, which has finally been punished this season. Just watched the video and it isn't 100% clear from the footage, but Callum looks like he fell into the Accies player rather than a lunging tackle. Typically we average between 2 and 5 per season... So between 1in 18 or 1 in 8... If you balance that out nearly 3 times more likely to receive a red if Collum is the ref, and it's. It just the red cards is it, the terrible penalties, the dodgy goals allowed to stand, the goals chalked off... The ridiculous bookings... The man is a bigot and a cheat... If we sit back and accept this time and time again, then we will continue to be Collum's gimp, who he delights in finding new ways to shaft whenever given the opportunity (excuse the dramatic licence, I was re-watching Pulp Fiction earlier this evening!). I'm almost hoping the SFA take Robbie to task over his comments, and that we dig our heels in and use it as an opportunity to lay out the statistics, and point to specific instances, and highlight inconsistencies etc. Instead of the SFA asking Robbie to explain his comments, we ask the SFA to explain the apparent discrepancies in Collum's decision making when refereeing us. Paterson had about 3 touches of the ball just to clear his lines. We deserved little from today's game.. at times we played like my 12 year old ladies team. Poor 1st touch, aimless balls up the park and couldn't find a team mate 5 yards away. Hamilton got in our faces and bullied us off the park. A taste of our medicine a little tbh.
