Bets for Saturday

Albion

Recommended Posts

I've noticed Betfair are currently offering 3/1 for a penalty to be awarded anytime against Hamilton on Saturday, definitely worth a punt I reckon.

Hearts to win is 16/11 which is very good value IMO!

Anyone else seen any worthwhile bets? Dundee and Ross County both looking well priced

Elgin are evens at home to Stirling Albion, I'd have thought that was a relatively safe bet. Wish I was brave enough to put a wedge on it!

Elgin lost their last match 2-1 (all be it away) to East Fife.

Stirling Albion haven't won at home in the league but they got a draw away to Annan.

When Elgin played Stirling Albion in July, they came from behind to win 3-2.

Not sure if it's a safe bet.

What makes you think so?

Collum to award us a pen? 25/1 at least I would want for that

There's a high chance he could award it the other way though!

Acouple of quotes from "Accies World" forum:

"A massive game against a high flying Hearts team - a draw would be more than decent for us in this one."

"I think a draw would be a very good result.
Hearts seem to be playing some good football going forward, not so solid at the back, according my Jambo buddy............
Fingers crossed 1-1........."

16/11 does sound enticing.

That is a very tempting price. I wonder if Paddy Power have even reviewed our penalty stats before choosing that

I think Aberdeen at 8/11 to win away to Partick is a good bet.  If it doesn't come in, it's good news for Hearts, so kind of a win/win.

Just couldn't put that bet on. Don't want to be watching us about to take a penalty and I've got money on to miss it.

Yup, I'm on this. Think it's another buying money moment like us against Partick. Although us at evens was better.

Yeah maybe that was an overstatement, think it's a good bet at that price though. As others have said, maybe safer with Aberdeen.

They will have reviewed it and those odds will underrepresent the probability (as is the case with 99% of odds offered by the main bookmakers)

The travelling distance is also a factor. Evens is attractive.

Also, re the Hamilton match, they've signed a couple of interesting new players. This has prompted a fan to post on Accies World:

"With all the new signings, we definitely have goals in the team. And with Lucas and Jesus looking very solid at the back right now we should definitely be setting ourselves to go at them! 2-2 for me but can see us sneaking a win and hopefully putting an end to that 100% record of theirs!"

The synthetic pitch to bear in mind.

I'm not going to lump on this one.

I hummed and hawed tbh but it's a good price, I'd obv rather we scored (should it happen) but it'd soften the blow I suppose. We'll win

I remember I had a double on Scotland Georgia and Hearts on Alloa's plastic pitch. Squeaky bummmmm.

It came in though thanks to Mr Eckersley (and Mr Khubutia's o.g.)
