Going on my lonesome tomorrow as the rest of the boys have other engagements. I plan to get the 12 o clock train from Waverley. Where is everyone heading?

Catching the train just after 11, planning to hit the beer festival around 12, it's only a short walk from the station. If it's too manic will look for a decent boozer.

Don't want to go to the square there will be dancing. Is there a Witherspoons in Raith?

Dancing you say. Will that be the Raith Ravers referenced in the thread title?

Dancing Bavarian style with men in tight leather shorts or pavement style dancing? More chance of the former tbh.

Railway Inn Lower Largo, couple of real ales and a wee jaunt along the road to the game. If you fancy a decent pint in Kirkcaldy hit Betty Nicol's in the High Street or for a real experience the Harbour Bar. Both at far end of the toon but bests boozers by a country mile. Go there and enjoy superb beer and then hop in a joe baxi and only 10 minutes drive to the ground.

About 2 minutes rom the station and 10 minutes from the ground is my guess.

Edit: not a bad guess as per our resident fifer's post above.

Any decent real ale boozers in the town at all lads? Plan on going to the Teutonic Tent but if its mobbed then want a backup plan.

Cheers, have a top day out one and all.

I'm sure I heard Jimmy Hill say it, maybe he was taking the mickey or maybe my memory's playing tricks. Anyway I hope they're not dancing tonight.
