Second 0-7 that I have endured

As it says on the tin and both times I stayed to the final whistle, did you? It is what is called supporting your team.

Couldn't believe the amount of so called fans leaving before half time.

I stayed until the end to keep my record of never leaving any game before the final whistle in my life but was tempted more than any other time to leave at half time.

Haha what pish! Why should anyone endure and 'support' the team through that?!?

Utter nonsense!

that is what supporting is all about - through thick and thin.

We stayed til the final whistle. Support them through thick and thin.

I got through today by imagining Craig Beattie scoring at Hampden several times.

I remember buggering off early as we were losing 4-1 at home to Partick Thistle.

Think it was Jefferies first season as manager.

Why stick around when you're team is getting humped when you could be having a beer.

I left at half time in 1973 but stayed until the end today and applauded them off? Why? Because they are just kids. They need our support as never before.

These uber fan threads are tedious.

Not an Uber fan post, we need to get behind the team and todays attendance was woeful.

I pay my money, thought I wasn't enjoying myself in any way so decided to leave and enjoy a pint of lager instead, does this make me a bad person ?

Also left at half time in 1973 and stayed until the end today but could find no reason to applaud them.

I have to say I wasn't there today as I couldn't afford to splash out the best part of ?100 on a day down from Dundee to watch what I suspected would be a thumping. Had I been there, the only thing that would have kept me there would have been the fact I'd spent so much money on the day out, and even that might not have been enough.

Why on earth would I want to listen to those animals dancing about having a ******* party whilst my team is in the process of being bent over and ****** up the arse one by one?

I can see why people left. I'm not going to criticise anyone who couldn't take it. There is supporting the team through thick and thin, and then there is being humiliated.

I'm glad that some people stayed to the end, but honestly, were you even bothered about watching or supporting the team by the time half time rolled around, or were you all in the middle of conversations with your mates about anything other than football? The atmosphere must have been rotten...

I stayed through sheer defiance. I will never give those rats the pleasure of seeing me sneak out before full time.

I stayed to the end in 1973 god knows how but I did.

I left with 5 mins to go today .

I wanted to get well out of the road before any possible bother.

A terrible day and one that has shown what trouble we are now in.

Looks to me as if the fans are ready to walk away .

We need something to give us a boost perhaps a new but experienced manager but we need something.

Yes I stayed to the bitter end. Was it worth it? No. Do I feel any better for it? No. Do I think it makes me a better fan than those who left? No.

The reason I stayed was because I thought maybe, just maybe those players would have a long hard look at themselves at half time and come out all guns blazing to claw back a bit of pride. Boy was I wrong! The players should be ashamed.

P.s the highlight of my day was having to sit in section G taking 90 minutes of vile abuse from those tramps waving their Irish flag about and singing their dirty IRA chants with not a jot of anything to celebrate and rub in their faces myself.

Stayed til the end but it was hard.

After the 3rd I just sat going through the Celtic crowd plotting how I'd kill each supporter.

This.... Some guys have no clue that REAL supporters take the good times with the bad.

Although I rarely leave early myself, I completely understand why people do-especially today.

I'm sure it makes no odds to the players if fans leave early.

Never left a match early. It was only last year Beattie was wheeling off round the dirt track having knocked in that penalty against that lot. They didn't seem to be looking on the bright side of life that day, I remember.

Yep, not everyone's cup of tea but staying to the bitter end is a personal defiance for me.

I was there with my gf (Celtic fan) who kept asking me if I wanted to leave. Stayed till the end of course, couldn't say I enjoyed it. What's the point in leaving if you've paid for it?

I once left a game against St Mirren at half-time to drink beer and play pro-ev at Gigalo Aunts. We weren't even losing.

And I'd do it again. :smuggy:

Glad too because a Celtic mate saw me on TV at the end and tipped his hat as it were.

Highlight was the pissed Celtic fan getting chucked out early doors for falling.

I stayed to the end to avoid the rush

The people in front of me left after the sixth goal, after sitting through the first five.

I can't understand that logic

I left as soon as the 5th went in, tbh I'm annoyed with myself that I didn't leave earlier.

Left at half time, Sunday service on the trains and having to go via Glasgow there was no way in hell I was waiting to the end and sharing a train carriage with their fans.

Not often I leave early but really didn't see the point of staying on and not getting home for an extra few hours.

I have always stayed to the end even though today it was painful. In between the two 0-7 we have won three scottish cups... Thought I'd cheer you all up.

Stayed until the end but my Dad left at half time, don't blame him really. Saying that I spent most of the second half looking at my phone, missed the 7th goal because of it. No point getting worked up at folk who left early because they were well within their rights.

Good lad. Shock starting to kick in only now but I stayed till end. I back them. We'll get a result next week and kick on. I back Hearts to do well. H1b5 no longer have this record score on their own that is 73, not Malmo!

Will make us stronger. The Hearts will be great again.

I stayed til the end but what's the point in having a go at other fans because we got a hammering.

Just move on and get it on with it.

Watched all 14 goals live!

The first 0-7 hurt for about 10 years when our dominance over Hibs took precedence over one freak result.

Sunday result has no real significance - already over it. When you look at the death of Glasgow Rangers versus the probability that we will exit administration we even now are the lucky ones. Within a couple of years we will be stronger versus the rest of Scottish football and another few Scottish Cups in my lifetime will be a distinct possibility. HHGH

Left after the fourth but know quite a few folk that stayed to the bitter end. Not going to criticise anyone for leaving/staying because it is up to each individual what they do.

Fxxx the SPFL

it's up to individuals what they do i stayed to the end as i did in 1973 which was a lot worse as i had to endure the journey to my grans (new years day meal) in balfour street, Leith got a number 22 bus(went through gorgie in the old days) which as you can imagine was full of hobos will never forget it.

I was in the Ardmillan after the game today and a group of guys had missed the first goal and were having a pish when the second went in so they just about turned and headed back to Ardmillan they were pretty well oiled when me and the missus got in. Hey ho each to their own.

PS we had a good bevvy went to casino and won three hundred quid made up for a bad day at Tynie.

Stayed til the end, let the players close enough to me know they're still my heroes this season.

How many of you who left at half time have been giving it tight to the hobos for doing the same thing last May?

Oh wait, that will be a different story somehow won't it? Aye.

Everyone should be staying until the end. Don't get me wrong, I can understand why you wouldn't want to. But you should be.

Not a "super fan" type post, if you came in the first place then good on you. And regardless of when you left, you spent your money and of course you do have every right to leave early, but I won't ever give that shower of manky *******s the satisfaction of thinking they've broken my support for my team, and that's what leaving early is. It's an admission that, on the day at least, you've given up. They've won the battle, and when you leave so early, you've handed them the war too.
