VAR check poss hand ball penalty

So what you're saying is, it is the system that is at fault...
  3. As I said earlier, I was able to use my credits on the Killie away tickets after I had renewed

👍🏻 especially now the game is so compressed and teams are so good at squeezing the game. I think it absolutely needs a shake up.

Here's a list of the licensing status published yesterday. https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/media/11752/240424-club-licensing-awards.pdf Strangely, Airdrie, Cove, Kelty, Edinburgh City and Peterhead still don't have a Bronze licence. I note that Beith still doesn't have a licence, so cannot participate in the LL Playoff with the EOS and SOS champions, should they win the WOS Premiership.

Playing like shitebags and rolling over to rangers

It was celtic a few seasons ago. I'd be happy with building on our wins v the other ten, games v celtic/ Rangers don't concern me too much. I'd like to beat Aberdeen away, no real excuse fuor that and v hibs, especially at home we really don't beat them enough- too many draws. Killie also have a great record at Tynecastle is recent seasons. Lots of areas to improve, the Rangers fascination is getting a little boring. When we do beat them, it won't reverse anything, it will just put folk at rest, when in reality a win or two in between 10/12/20 non wins doesn't really change the landscape of the fixture, it will just make folk feel better. If we continue ti be top 3/4, we'll get better and stronger and right many of these wrongs. I'm not putting the weight of history on this or next seasons Hearts team, imo it's irrelevant, let's just continue this form and improvement.

Halkett could realistically have a better chance of recovering but Boyce has unfortunately not got the same time left. Though I hope both make it back and get back to full fitness next season.

Correct james. The only reason someone would feel the need to cite Kant in an jibe about your maturity is to give themselves a wee smug smartarse semi. Surely just calling you a childish idiot would suffice, no?

There's also the argument that a number of HL sides don't actually want to be promoted with all the additional travelling and costs involved (although they would receive a share of the SPFL distribution of a minimum of £50k and entry to the various cups). I wonder how Brechin feel now about losing out on the HL title on the last day.

    Summer 24 Transfers - Vargas signs 5 year deal ( updated )

Sorry to reply two pages back, but that's the way the xfer thread goes. To me these aren't in conflict. Forrest was one of the first names on the team sheet because we were still struggling to generate chances and finish them if Larry wasn't involved. Forrest, limited though he is, was worth 3-5 decent balls into the box every game against non-OF opposition. Even if he put his head down and didn't see options, even if he got run into the end line, you knew what you were getting and we needed that reliability. Some of that was McKay being out, of course. Cochrane and McKay have an understanding that was often more effective than having Forrest up there. The point to me is we need to improve. Forrest is plenty good enough to play for Hearts but it's also a spot, like with Atkinson for me, where moving him from regular starter to bench player by getting someone better in front of him is the ideal.

The thing people are highlighting is that there is a 'the rangers' problem Head to head, they are the most pressing concern

Call me a cynic, but this reeks of their are enough Highland teams in the SPFL, we didn't want another. With the possibility of either Bonnyrigg Rose or Clyde falling out the league, EK, are the most convenient replacement.

    Sandy Jardine

Sandy Jardine no doubt would have been a Rangers supporter after spending so long there, however he grew up as a Jambo and we won the blinking lottery when he signed for us, that period between 83 to 90 was just amazing, maybe because I was so young but the mixture of seasoned pro's and home grown youngsters was just a great journey to be on. Sandy Jardine helped develop all the young players, not just Craig Levein , teaching them the game and how to become good professionals. Thank you Hearts for remembering Sandy Jardine, because without him, Alex McDonald and Wallace Mercer, the last 30 years may have looked completely different and not in a good way.

The Greens are peeved off about the "progressive" government, Progressive means pander to a small minority to criminalise the majority for hurting some thems feelings. They are calling the SNP Toxic, just now on the radio, oh the irony Humza just did not read the room

No this has been a punch in the face, when he thought it would be him landing the first punch. He is a total eejit, Its not the act of ditching the Greens that was coming, but he should have done it before the Greens were going to pull that trigger first. He seriously thought the Toareez and labour would applaud him 2 days ago he gave a verbal agreement to the greens just on Tuesday.

    U.S. Politics megathread (merged)

Reading a live blog of the trial, the one thing that comes across more than anything is how much of a total cheapskate Trump is. Even while Pecker was covering his ass by buying up stories, Trump kept trying to avoid paying him back for the expenses. And Pecker knows this—Cohen says, "don't worry, the boss will cover it" and Pecker replies, "when we went out to lunch, I always paid."
