do a lay-off by having a double on the 'double chance' odds of:

bolton/draw @ 2.47

arsenal/draw @ 1.72

pays 4.25

?100 on for ?425 back.

you're covered.

What if Spurs won and Chelsea didn't though or vice versa?

i know, it's a minefield.

i know a guy who regularly wins in the many hundreds and sometimes in four figures. the bugger still has the cheek to moan about near misses.

it's not even big stakes. just lots of games. some folk just have the fixed odds knack.

Singles on Motherwell and Burnley kept me above the break even line for the day, so have reinvested the winnings into a cheeky 5-way of:

Hertha Berlin

Malaga

Leicester

Benfica

Valencia

Very low odds of 7.29, but Leicester and Berlin are romping their games so far and I'd rather go for a short odds acca. with a fighting chance than a crazy job.

Had ?10 on Leicester -3 this evening at 12/1.

Put all the winnings on an Inter Malaga double tonight.

Oh Kramer do you even research your bets?

Betting on Inter the night

I was tempted by a Napoli single at the odds while I was watching it, but was very much a "do not touch" job pre-kick off.

Inter were well in control until the ref reduced them to ten men and awarded a penalty for a challenge outside the box.

I can't help it if the ref is against me.

Tottenham to beat Blackburn at Ewood Park in 3 weeks, 13/10 (bwin)

I expect that price to shorten considerably.

Bet for tomorrow;

Chelsea (-1) 5/4

Tot-Ars Both to score 1/2

QPR (+1) 22/25

?10 = ?63.45

I had 2 bets from yesterday waiting on Birmingham today, one to win, the other to win or draw. I've put ?50 on Nottm Forest (11/10) so I'm guaranteed ?55 if Forest win, ?58 if they draw, ?175 profit if Birmingham win.

I then put my minimum guaranteed ?55 on Celtic. It's a no lose bet, either I make another ?33 or Hearts get something from the game.

I don't like covering bets but after thinking about it for a while, I think Forest might actually come up with a result today, Birmingham were just playing in Europe midweek which is a factor as well.

Today:

Barca -1

Both teams to score in:

Fulham v Qpr

Fiorentina V Lazio

Spurs v Arsenal

Rolled up as an accumulator pays 8/1.

I stuck Forest on my coupon for today for that very reason. Plus I expected a reaction from Forest after their hiding last week. 1-0 up at half time so still all to play for, though.

My coupon today is:

Palermo (2-0 FT)

Fulham (3-0 HT)

Forest (1-0 HT)

Schalke

Spurs

Real Madrid

55/1

Now I've posted it, it'll only go one way. :sob:

You never learn Franko. Aftertiming is the key.

Palermo won, Fulham won, Schalke winning, Spurs winning, Real NAPs to win later and Forest 1-0 up with 15 mins to go. McLaren better get the sack after costing me this one.

Horrible 45 mins lie ahead for me.

Stomach churning.

Spurs have not played well by any stretch of the imagination so they need to up their game to see this through.

Schalke have just scored what looks like a winner. Forest's 15 minute collapse looks like it has cost me a couple of hundy. :seething:

?533.85 paid for that bet :pleasing:

Minus my ?15 original stake, and the ?15 I shat on a draw to secure myself at least a little bit back with 10 mins to go.

?503.85 profit.

:)

?503.85 double on Barca/Real?

A couple of friends asked me to start betting for them, gave me ?50 each 10 days ago. Have managed to miraculously turn it into ?700. Waiting on this Na fella winning the golf for another ?80.
