ManxandCapeTownJambo Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Got to be Karipidis for me Outstanding 90 minutes We were strong and positive in first half but got a bit too negative second half probably due to the pressure of not winning for so long Banks - Solid, our number 1 keeper Robbie - Gave everything and got forward Jose - Bombscare as usual Berra - Did well Karipidis - won everything in the air, kept it simple Chesney - not at his best Stewart - Good first 45 Velicka - Would be even better with more support Ruben - Great first 45 Jonsson - great game, vital blocks Driver - Tried hard but not at his best
cardboardcutout Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Is Zaliukas back next week? Theres always somebody tries to spoil it!!!
milky_26 Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 yeah i agree Karipidis with Ruben a close second
fordy Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 yeah i agree Karipidis with Ruben a close second Ditto, game wasn't a classic, but who the hell cares! Well done lads! Nothing better than beating THEM!!
We_are_the_Hearts Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Karipidis edged it from Ruben, Berra and Velicka. Eggert also produced his usual energetic game and snuffed out Shiels.
Nelly Terraces Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Has to be Ruben, despite the best eforts of ADHD boy Murrya the hobo to savage him. That boy is just sheer class. Love watching him play football. Karapidis was great today as well though, no way can Zaliuseless take his place back in that team now.
DETTY29 Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Berra, closely followed by Karapidis. Karapidis is probably the better footballer, but wouldn't have won some of the challenges Berra did. Karapidis would not have handled Jones as well as Berra did.
