Toronto Maple Leafs blew a 3-goal lead in a play-off game, again, last night.  They must be serious contenders for "Choke Artists of the Century."

Time to change the team name to the Toronto Make Believes.

Those ***** better not 'win' the first pick again.

Habs just pumped out a very sluggish pittsburgh squad 😃

Great fighting performance from the Habs. And got the tactics spot on. Nice to see after the rope a dope of the other games.

Why worry?  They've won nowt since the last first pick.

Full disclosure:  I'm a Leafs fan, but still one of their biggest critics.  My display name is for the flag, not the hockey team.

Some come back from the Leafs last night! 3-0 down with 4 minutes to play.

How did you end up in Guelph? One of the Habs brightest prospects (Nick Suzuki) was starring for the OHL's Guelph Storm last year.

c'mon the Canes! Could be the surprise package again...

I like the roster Carolina have built – seems to have a good mix of youth, experience, power and speed.

Who do you face in the next round?

The Philadelphia Flyers look like they're in good form too.

I was pretty surprised how pedestrian Pittsburgh were. Malkin was so flat but that was probably down to Weber/Chiarot completely dominating him.

Find out today I think but looking like either the Capitals or Bruins, tough one either way.

Incredible comeback by the Leafs.  Complete reversal of the previous night. Winner take all tomorrow.

Toronto just got too big and too busy for my taste.  Guelph is a nice quiet university town. It's quite compact, so everything is only a few minutes drive away.  I live in a retirement community, so the gardening, snow clearing etc. is done for me.  Much more suitable for me in my declining years.  :biggrin2:

I thought you were still in Mississauga, Ron. I hadn't noticed your new location.

Looking for some advice regarding buying team jerseys. I'm 5ft10" and about 15 stone with a bit of a gut. Normal clothing I take a xxl in uk sizes. What size for a replica jersey do folk reccommend? The same, smaller or larger?

Almost a year since the last post on this thread...

I’m a Habs fan. Fair to say I’m not enjoying it so far.

This is a race to the bottom. I ‘follow’ the Canucks.

You must be like I then looking forward to a close game against Boston this afternoon, I am looking forward to a close game something like 8 -1 for the Bruins. At least in hockey there is no relegation, so they will be back in the big league next season.:vangry:

Thought they'd turned a corner by breaking the losing streak and then they go and lose another three on the trot.

Hard times...

The Molson family wielding the axe at the Canadiens. General Manager and other senior figures released with immediate effect. Gm has been there for almost 10 years so I don’t imagine he’ll been struggling for loose change anytime soon.

First loss at home to the Canucks for donkey's years, too. Happy days @Sharpie :)

Flames looking more than decent. (so far anyhow)

I shifted my allegiances from the Flames to Canucks after visiting Vancouver and seeing the Sedin brothers. Think I may have jinxed them and lifted the curse I put on the Flames :(
