she is stunning. there is something about a woman with obivously artificially coloured hair that just does it for me, roll in the fact that it is natalie portman and yowsah!

I'm fairly confident that's a wig Randle!

The Tourist 3/10 PISH

I was looking forward to this for some reason but OMG a 3 year old could work this out. Stay away from it.

Saw Inception on Saturday.

Top film - Probably one of the best films I've seen this year - 9/10

Thought the ending was very clever as well.

The Hangover - 7/10 decent enough but over-rated

Planes, Trains and Automobiles - 8/10 Not Steve M's finest hour but John Candy is fab in it!

If you gave that a 7 try watching "I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell" beats it easily.

Blood Diamond

Liked this film better than I thought I would. Mainly due to the characters which are (slight spoiler)-

not what they seem.

7/10

Pans Labyrinth 9/10

Excellent film, fantastic ending watching it just made me even more gutted that Guillermo Del Torro has pulled out of making the Hobbit :(

Watched it on Sunday, absolutely superb film, far far better than I'd thought it would be based on the trailer

Rambo I-IV :santa1:

Mindless violence, explosions, ammunition was limitless and aiming was flawless!

Time for Die Hard. :santa:

Watched two today, Peter Mullan's newie NEDS and Sofia Coppola's Somewhere.

Could two films be more different?

Although NEDS ably brought back memories I'd rather forget (in terms of time and place), Coppola's effort was the more engaging - another tale of contemporary ennui that mercifully lacks the casual racism that marred Lost In Translation.

Inception

Still has me thinking about the end of it so 8/10

Next up is, and I kid you not,

Nude Nuns With Big Guns.

Anything is got to be lighter than Inception and I hope it doesn't bring back memories of the doings they gave out at primary school.

Absolutely agreed. Great visuals and soundtrack but very sketchy plot and cringeworthy script. I reckon if it had been made by a studio other than Disney and therefore aimed at an older audience it could have been twice the film, such potential wasted. Also WTF was with Martin Sheen? Thought he was David Bowie at first, couldn't stop laughing.

7/10

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World.

Had heard good things from some of my friends. Should have remembered most of my friends are arseholes, this film is pretty crap. Looks nice though and has a hot bursd in it (mary elizabeth winstead).

4/10

Creepy Lurker

La Ville Est Tranquille - 5/10

Didn't hate this film, but found it a bit...I don't know how I'd describe this. It was meant to show Marseille's social problems by looking at the lives of several characters and how they all linked together, but it did it in a typically melodramatic French fashion, which I felt lessened its impact. Watching it was a worthwhile exercise in keeping myself thinking in French, but that's about it. Wouldn't really recommend it.
