James Bond, No Time To Die. Love a Bond movie, but really didn't expect the ending!!!

First movie I've ever watched and my jaw actually dropped!!!

Cherry starring Tom Holland - based loosely on a true story. Guy joins the army because his girlfriend dumps him only for her to change her mind. What follows takes you from army training to front line conflict followed by PTSD, drug addiction and crime. Excellent watch.

Nomadland on Netflix.

This film gets high praise, which means I have no taste as I thought it was poor.

Frances McDormand plays a fine role as an older woman who decides to spent her life driving around the USA in an old van, but her performance doesn't save this dud, imo.

We see her urinating beside the road, defecating loudly into a bucket, doing menial jobs to make ends meet, driving her jalopy in various regions of the country, and .... well that's about it.

No better than a 5 from me.

A Castle For Christmas - NETFLIX

Filmed at Dalmeny House for American Christmas viewing, so bad it's funny. Cliche ridden pap, but hey they'll be jetting over in their droves.

A real enjoyable nonsense.

Has you going ohhh!! Then laughing out loud.

Hilary Swank and Patrick Swayze ( must be quite old, he died years ago did he not)

Elf on the big screen @ the Odeon Wester Hailes. They are showing a lot of older Christmas films and I am taken my kids to see them. Great fun film.

Tuesday night they are showing Its A Wonderful Life. Might need to drag a friend along with me to wipe my tears as it gets me every time.

I thought it was pretentious nonsense.

I liked The Lobster so I'll give it a bash.

Yep, total pish.

It's a thinking mans film. You have to see life a certain way to appreciate it

Gunpowder Milkshake

This is great work by the director. Cool music, nice to look at and a film where the dialogue is slick and sharp. Give it a shot for its hold water with Quentin Tarantino's best work in the genre

10/10

Mortal Kombat

Just one of those films that thinks it's a masterpiece. Boring wooden acting with boring acting and stupid moments

Train to Busan Presents Peninsula- Not bad. The car chase is excellent fun. 7/10.

The Killing of a Sacred Deer. Agree with @rudi must stay, it is a very watchable, disturbing black comedy. The young Irish guy is brilliant in it. 8/10.

Thanks very much for posting. I’m a huge TL fan and saw them live many’s a time.

Used to leave their gig and wring out your T shirt.

Really enjoyed watching it but it evoked many memories. Good memories of great gigs and fantastic tunes.

Sadness at PL story and his loss at such a young age.

He really was up there as one of the greatest front men ever.

The Craig fairbrass film? If so it’s ****ing dreadful.

Didn't think it was dreadful at all. Ending a bit **** but I can forgive it that for nice visuals, atmospheric music and acting that I felt was above average for a low budget British film. Reminded me abit of Dead Man's Shoes

If the ending is a bit shit then it can’t be a 10/10

Pontypool 9.5/10. IMO, the second best Zombie movie ever made. Creepy, funny and smart.

Never Give In. 8/10. Like him or loathe him, Ferguson is very watchable. The Aberdeen segment should have been bigger though.
