The Old Tolbooth Posted November 29, 2010 Share Posted November 29, 2010 Phew, I came through a very tight match against Dave to win by 1 hole, I thought I'd fecked it up on the last when I hit my drive into the rough, and then my second into a bunker, but the bunker shot left me with a 3 foot putt which I saved par with, and Dave's pitch stopped just short of the hole for a halved match, sweaty palm stuff!! Well played Dave and yer tactics were brilliant For the record, if a game ends all square after 18 holes then 1 point each is awarded, it's up to yourselves if you want to play the extra hole or not. Thought I'd managed a draw with my chip on a perfect line for the hole(John blowing his screen to keep it out), and it stopped 0.6 of an inch short.
