I think the guys good, in fact I think he's close to being a brilliant TV writer and he is a brilliant producer. What's he's done with Nu Who is exceptional, but he takes every opportunity to force in some gay comment/overtone/joke. He's not just trying to validate homosexual relationships, if they're not valid already why is he trying so hard? He crowbars in some gay reference at every opportunity. There was even one in the 5 minute Children in Need special with Peter Davison, when they talked about the Master's beard, "well a wife".
