This first i have ever seen something of this nature from them,"Smithsonian's Air and Space" magazine and the sources from which it originates are considered very main steam and contain respected professionals who contribute various up to date space and avionics information ect.I was somewhat surprised to see that almost every single article is UFOs, odd crashes and disappearances, and Area 51.There is an article in there about gravitational capture and fly by anomalies experienced by space craft. Apparently the acceleration effect is maximized by a slow low angle approach into the gravity well followed by a quick steep climb out? Some researchers even feel Einstein's equations might be proven false, absolutely scandalous!ML.

Btw ML - it makes total sense for governments to keep very sensitive information like the existence of aliens private or for large engineering firms like Lockheed or Boeing to keep special projects or technologies away from the public,

 

We're all stupid and insufferable. You only have to walk about your local town centre to figure this out, or even just read Kickback.

Whoever needs to know about some secret missile/stealth craft/alien ship/new technology will know about it because they're intelligent and rational enough to deal with it all properly. The rest of us just aren't. These things should be "top secret" until we're ready to know.

 

I also doubt anyone who knows about what really happens is an evil person, hell bent on keeping everyone in the dark while they and they alone benefit. If a new weapon is created it's usually for defence of the country and I'd rather no one knew about it so that if we ever had to use it, it's a strategic advantage. You can come up for similar arguments about why other things have been kept quiet for a while.

Sorry,should have added that there is nothing to panic about, its quite common for meteorites, comets ect to be pulled in to the sun by its massive gravitational pull, just thought it looked a wee bit cool;
