Apparently there is a different school each year that is staging a "UFO drill," in which the children have a staged UFO incident occur at the school (unannounced), real police officers arrive and take control of the scene.

 

At first, the children are confused, and allowed to react naturally. Then the police step in an instruct the children in how to react -- I guess, if this were to happen for real?

 

The police also instruct the children in "proper" investigation and handling of the scene. Afterward, the children are invited to write about their experiences and feelings.

 

On the one hand, this could just be a trendy new thing that schools in the UK are doing. On the other hand, the conspiracy theorist inside me is wondering: how is this not preparing children for something else;

On the DVD extras for Charlie Chaplin's 'The Circus', a woman is spotted in the background at the movie's premiere in 1928 and appears to be talking on a mobile phone.

Tape recordings of US military men investigating a UFO in British woodland 30 years ago have finally been released.

The airmen tramped through Rendlesham Forest in search of the source of mysterious night-time lights that looked like an alien spacecraft.

It became one of the world's most famous UFO sightings - and has never been explained.

Background actors of show "CHUCK" explain what they saw.Seems like this description given by him could be genuine in my view anyway.If ever a person sounded both genuine and buzzing it was that bloke.

The Report on Unidentified Flying Objects by Edward Ruppelt (1956);

 

 

One of the major names in the history of the UFO enigma is Edward J. Ruppelt. He was there from the beginning and had involvement in the Roswell incident, Project Grudge and went on to become the Director of Project Blue Book.. The Blue Book archive is available here. I was chatting to a friend last night about the movie The Fourth Kind & she casually mentioned that a relative of hers was allegedly abducted near Edinburgh about ten years ago & that apparently it was quite a famous case, i told her i had never heard about it & she then mentioned that it was now being made into a movie aswell & if i didnt believe her that i should go & check online. Please keep in mind that because we talk about UFO's we are not always talking about Aliens. Any aircraft that is 'unidentified' is by definition a UFO. Get this Book by Michio Kaku and have a read, it talks about what is possible (but not achievable) using today's scientific knowledge. Also he is a Sci-Fi geek and relates things to Star Wars and Star Trek so its easy and fun to read.

I have in the course of this thread highlighted Michio Kaku a well respect astro-physicist and his thoughts on the possible reality that Some UFOs could very well be extraterrestrial in origin, that is a big say coming from a astro physicist of his creditability to come out with that but times are changing i feel in the perceptions or thoughts from the people like him in regards to the ET possibility of SOME UFOs.That is due i feel to what is slowly being realised or discovered in some areas of physics like quantum mechanics that deal with the theory of worm holes and string theory for example.

The files include reports of UFO sightings from 1979 to 1984 and references to the Kaikoura sighting of December 1978.

 

The files are held by Archives New Zealand and were to have been made public this month, but the Defence Force is removing personal information from them to comply with the Privacy Act.

 

"At the moment we are working on making copies of these files, minus the personal information," a Defence Force spokeswoman said. "Once this work is completed, we are hoping to be able to release a copy of all the UFO files, including some ahead of their release time, within the year."

When looking through some of thee files from different country's,(there are hundreds of files),there are some that have black out areas, of course this is to protect the privacy's of witnesses ect be they military personnel or civilian witnesses. The older reports contain definite blacked out paragraphs, again this just could be privacy laws ect.There is a law that proceeds all requests by the freedom of information acts, that law is the national security law, i feel that this law is used to retain the more sensitive and above top secret classified documents.For reference i would recommend Tim Goods books on his interviews with military and intelligence security personnel who have had above top secret security clearances needed to be aware of these highly sensitive documents.

 

It is interesting that he goes on say that he was briefed by some intelligence quarters, way back in the 90s, that there was a on going "public education programme" aimed at the gradual release or, "getting the public slowly used to or prepared to the reality of off world intelligences being one of the origins of the more unknown UFO cases.This was called the public introduction programme, this would happen through gradual releases through the main source of the public's medium, the media out lets and television company's.

UFOs remain a key military and intelligence problem ? one demanding unprecedented security and deception. Access to information is on a strictly ?need to know? basis.

 

Tim Good has had a few very eye opining books out that explain the UFO situation from a military perspective and the lengths the military and government intelligences will go to conceal or protect the more serious classified cases.That the real fear of public panic, social, religious and political impacts that any real proof got out would do.Sorry for the rant but this side of this subject is where the real truth will emerge i think;
