Knew I enjoyed last Sunday too much...Miami weren't playing to put me through the wringer. 😐😁

Can we have a bye every week?

Really frustrating tonight too, should have won that game if not for the 2 fumbles and Huntley getting injured, gifted it to the Colts

Decent performance from Russel Wilson on his Steelers debut last night against a good Jets D

A 5-2 start to the season for us is better than expected but still need more wins on the board before going into a very tough back half of the season

Jameson Williams suspended 2 games for PED's, to add to his 4 games suspension last season for gambling. He's racking up the suspensions early in his career!

Sure, if that's how you want to paint it...

Reality - 2 games for not declaring a prescription drug and 4 games for falling foul of the NFL's horrendous gambling policy whereby if he'd placed his bets at the other side of the training facility door then he wouldn't have been suspended.

His suspensions say more about the NFL than it does Williams.

They're still suspensions. I'm not saying he's the devil incarnate, but every player should know the NFL rules, whether they're sensible rules or not. Facts are he's been suspended twice and, whether that's justified or not, he'll be watched very closely by the NFL going forward so will need to be squeaky clean.

I’m with Liam on this one, that first suspension is an absolute joke, such a ridiculous ruling, no common sense whatsoever.

It's also laughable that certain players can be arrested for a hit and run and escape league sanctions yet others get banned four games for gambling on other sports inside the teams training facility.

So Tua is back for Sunday. I know what I'd be doing if I was the opposition.

Dolphins will be the home team for an International game next season. It's not confirmed where, but I'd think there was a high chance it will be the one that has been confirmed for Madrid

Did you see the video of the Chicago defensive back? Taunting the crowd, slowly realising there’s a play going on, runs over and ends up tipping the ball into Brown’s hands 😂 he’s came out and apologised

He's not going to live that down any time soon...if he still has a job when he gets back to Chicago

Enjoyed the Steelers Giants game in 40 there. The amount of penalties the Giants offense gave up was crazy. Steelers look solid.

We do, solid but unspectacular, which if i'm honest i'm pretty happy with at this stage in the season. Plenty teams have started a season on fire only to fade later when it matters, would much rather hit our best form late in the season.

With a particularly hard schedule this season i'm just glad we're at 6-2 already, on a bye this week then the schedule gets really tough, start back against the commanders then six of the last 8 are our divisional games with the other 2 games being the eagles and chiefs

Here's the video of it. That's embarrassing, showing no interest in the play then realising he'd better do something...and tipping it for the TD

Diontae Johnson to the Ravens, never saw that coming. Ravens going for it this year. Panthers needed to do this, complete rebuild required

Richardson benched.

His main issue is lack of experience, so I'm not sure this is the best move from the Colts. He may just be inaccurate and will never be able to fix it, but it'll be hard to verify that if he's not starting. Maybe at 4-4 they're still in with a playoff chance, but I doubt they're going to do much if they get there, so I reckon they'd be better off seeing if Richardson is the answer or if they need to start looking again (it's not like Flacco is going to be the long term answer)

Diggs out for the season. Texans haven't had much luck with their WR's this season, with Collins being on IR at the moment, although at least he's expected back.

The NFL has a development issue for me, especially at the QB position. Thrust into poor teams, expected to perform instantly all without developmental reps.

His accuracy was poor in college too. Folks blinded by his powerful physique and speed. Was gutted when we drafted him.

Agree, everyone wants a superstar QB from day one, or he sucks

He’s exactly the same as Josh Allen was at this stage.

An enigma who is better in open space than in the pocket. Good coaching will develop Richardson just fine.

Not everyone can afford to do a Chiefs or Packers and sit their QB for a couple seasons but they're reaping the rewards. Fully expect Penix to join them.

And then when you look at what putting young QB's into struggling teams under poor management does - very little make it. And yet you only have to look at this season to see what getting in the right situation can do for "flop" QB's (Mayfield, Darnold etc.).

I think back to Warner and how he always says NFL Europe made him. The NFL need to seriously consider something like that or a reserve league of sorts.

Yeah, he was always a very high bust possibility. He's like Cam Newton without the college experience...but Newton at least could throw the ball fairly accurately for a while.

Josh Allen had much more experience in college before he came to the NFL. Maybe had some accuracy concerns, but nothing like Richardson has.

Think Penix is already 24. He’s gonna be one old ass rookie if he has to sit behind Cousins for the remainder of his contract.

It was great when we had the Scottish Claymores in NFL Europe, especially the World Bowl win at Murrayfield, so maybe I'm a little biased, but it was such a shortsighted, cost driven decision to end that league.

The NFL owners would have been better putting more money into it and even expanding it, rather than cutting it back for years before finally finishing it off. Short term they would have lost money, but the "product" on the field at the moment is starting to suffer from lack of development and it could cost them money long term if the NFL play on the field regresses into more mistakes and poor play.

Reckon Cousins will be gone by end of next season (if Penix is showing how good he can be).

And, to add, as well as QB, the OL has serious development issues too. The college game already didn't do a great job of developing them, but the lack of padded practices now (due to the NFLPA agreement) has exacerbated that, and we're seeing a severe lack of quality OL available to teams in the league.

Just seen a stat from the weekend, teams that have scored 20+ points with no turnovers and gave up less than 250 yards were 756-0 (since 1940), Jets first team to lose with those numbers in 84 years 😂

Just a follow up to my thoughts on my post about Allen / Richardson.

Quite similar. Wee bit patience me thinks.
