Without looking at everyone on the list, I'd say:

I can understand taking Rodgers and Brees 1 and 2 in the overall dynasty rankings, but Brady is too high at number 3 given his age imo. I'd go 1.Calvin Johnson 2.Rodgers 3.Brees 4.McCoy 5.Rice

I'd rank Gronkowski and Graham closer together in the overall rankings. Wouldn't hesitate to take either at the start of the 2nd round.

Individual rankings.

QB - Peyton too high. Vick and Bradford a few spots too low.

RB - I'd rather draft Chris Johnson, Darren McFadden and Jamaal Charles ahead of Gore/Turner/Jackson. Spiller is too low. Demarco Murray shouldn't be top 10 just now.

WR - Personally I'd only draft Mega ahead of Green at WR. Some of the guys in their 30s are too high. Julio Jones is way too low. I think he has Wallace/Antonio Brown about right though.

TE - Tony Gonzalez is too high. And if its a shame that Fred Davis has issues, as otherwise he'd be at least ten spots higher.

Those top tens are much better than the FBG's one. I'd probably still prefer to pass on Welker/Johnson/White to take Julio Jones. Tried and failed to trade for him a couple of weeks ago.

I'm firmly in the 'let people manage their own team and don't veto' camp but that's pretty terrible.

It's atleast Blackmon, Luck or Griffin for a late 1st next year a nothing WR and a RB who's looked just better than average. Giving up that pick makes the 13 first even later as well.

Very curious what happened here.

So am I not allowed to put trade up, as you can see I offered on my first trade Reggie Wayne, Turner a 4th round 1st and second for next year. It was rejected and Forrester put up a counter offer.

I didn't see any previous offers, I thought maybe it had been accepted in error like what happened with Larry and Geoff earlier.

As far as I'm concerned it stands, as I said I'm the commish and it's not my place to tell people what to do. I just thought it was a pretty terrible trade that's all.

Very curious what happened here.

1) I think it's better than this: Flynn, Matt GBP QB; Lumpkin, Kregg TBB RB; Smith, Kevin DET RB; Arrington, Adrian NOS WR.

2) Greene's improved every season and with LT likely to go in the off-season he should receive a healthy bulk next year. Floyd's not much but I didn't want Wayne because of his age and the question mark over where he'll be next season. Floyd would have easily hit 1,000 yards last season had he remained fit, and Rivers and him seemed to strike up a rapport towards the end of the season.

3) Calling it a late first is a bit presumptuous considering he's given up two starters to (likely) get one.

4) History has taught us that the chances are 1 out of those 3 supposed dead certs is going to be a bust. There is nothing certain about the draft.

5) One player wasn't going to turn my team into a winner. Now I feel I've strengthened at two positions, and even if the team isn't all that better, I've still got a young side and two first and two second round draft picks the year after.

And as I've stated before, people put too much stock in draft picks on this. That's my strategy, my form of "moneyball" and I'm sticking to it.

That's fair enough and I respec your right to do it I just figured you could have got more for the pick.

Re my offer, I was lowballing after Flynn went off, realistically I'd have gone as high offered a lot more had the right deal been there.

I agree that whoever Scott picks could totally bust i just don't personally think that'll happen.

What was it?

My opening offer was Chris Johnson for his first and Spiller.

Greene is alright, but this was supposed to be his season with LT playing far less. He was really poor in a good number of games, you just didn't see the step up that was expected to come. Not convinced he's going to be the star they were expecting.

From my point of view.

Didn't want to give up Greene as I think he still has potential. Floyd is still a very good WR on a pass happy team, with Gates getting older and with Jacksons contract up( I think )could be the No1. I could take anyone in the draft and it could be bust or boom at any position. We've both taken a gamble. Ron, that trade, no sorry.

I realised it wasn't enough as soon as I sent it.

Malcolm floyd

Date of birth: September 8, 1981

Antonio Gates

Date of birth: June 18, 1980

I have to agree with Dizzle here re Greene. I honesty wouldn't be surprised to see the Jets end up with Richardson.

It's up to you now to make the pick, I think I know who you want there though.

I think Wayne is gone personally, I think he'll follow manning out.

They'll resign Gar?on and draft someone to team with him and Collie, maybe a Kendall Wright (although he'll probably go too high for that).

Its hard to say with Wayne, think it all comes down what happens with Manning/Luck and if this clear out/new start extends to the old guard like Wayne and Saturday. Would like to see him stay as he is still are best WR but if manning goes then I think he will be gone aswell, will interesting to see how Austin collie and Pierre Garcon perform in the coming season with a regular QB aswell.

Spiller's stock is very much on the rise after his showing once Jackson went down, I'm praying one of them goes elsewhere to get maximum amount of points out of the two. And there are a lot of questions about CJ after last year's performance.

I wouldn't trade Spiller, you're never going to get what he could potentially be worth (and unlike before it actually looks like he might live up to that).

Bills will maybe give Spiller more downs, but they'll stick with the two of them if they can. CJ still did better than Greene, even after that dreadful start. CJ was hesitant with his runs, but I put the blame largely on the blocking, something that did improve as the season went on, and I suspect the Titans will be addressing that for next season.

Put it this way, I wouldn't swap Johnson for Greene, Floyd and two 2013 picks.

I know it's not saying much, but i've made worse trades than that

If I had been Forrester, I would have preferred to pick up Luck/RGIII/Blackmon. But I wouldn't go as far as saying its a terrible or completely one sided trade.

Dolphins are in the toughest division, so it's going to be tough to get that 2013 pick to be a late one.

Yes, but you were a winning team so it's easier for you to say.

Even had I draft one of the top three and they went on to have a great rookie year, the chances are I still wouldn't make the playoffs. My team is weak at every position bar TE (and even there I don't have a strong back-up) and I need more pieces.

It was the fact you wanted me to give you Spiller that was the big no-no in our deal. I'd rather have Johnson than Greene, but not CJ for all four.

I saw this on a dynasty rankings thread and thought it was interesting:

Here's a good example of message board reality vs. actual reality:

?

In the last 24 hours I've offered Fitzgerald to the Dez owner and then later to the Blackmon owner in one of my PPR dynasty leagues. These offers weren't quite straight up 1-for-1 swaps, but they were pretty close, with me asking for a little bit of value on the other end to help balance the deal.

?

Both owners said no and neither expressed much interest in a straight swap. I'd be willing to bet that Fitzgerald would be ranked higher than Bryant or Blackmon on most dynasty rankings, but when push comes to shove people don't make these deals.

?

Fitzgerald is 28 with 6 career 1000 yard seasons, including 4 of 1400+ yards. Bryant has never had a 1000+ yard season and Blackmon hasn't even played a down in the NFL. I understand the high valuation placed on those players. After all, I was trying to trade for them. But still, the premium placed on youth and potential is just insane.

?

I agree.

It's because nobody wants to be "that guy" who traded away 2007 Calvin Johnson or 2011 Cam Newton.

?

They view their rookie assets as if they have already reached max potential, which they will not in most cases.

?

I'll admit, I might be guilty of this.

As someone who will very soon be picking Trent Richardson (barring some bizarre scenario), there's a veerrry short list of players I would trade him for straight up.

?

The cliff is coming for him and when it does I imagine it'll come quickly, that's why he was a lot lower on mine.

I've got picks 1:09, 1:12, 2:06 and 2:09 that I'd be willing to trade, looking for starting RB, WR and TE. Would even trade multiple picks for them. So if anyone wants to make any offers.

That Jim Caldwell picture collection was genius

How close was my trade offer?

The stumbling block was that I'm still unsure about whether to keep the player you wanted as he could be a really good backup. But mainly giving away a pick for a player who might not be on an NFL team next season.

I might think about sending you one of my picks for one of your players, plus the one you wanted.

Which player? I'm quite happy with my core squad.

What if it was the 3rd instead of 2nd?

I'm more than happy to trade so send through some offers, I think you know the guys on your team I like (I've sent a trade request with all of them on it just to be clear)

3rd would probably be more likely than the 2nd.

Will have a think about what offers I can send you and yeah I know the players that you would like. Would imagine any deals would be unlikely as I know you will want quite a bit for the ones I might go for.
