That dog was the best.

 

Have to agree with everyone else that thought Up had its sad moments, especially the bit at the start.

 

Having grown up since watching the original Disney & Pixar films the first time around you notice a lot more watching them again.

'UP' was total class! The bit where the kid was squeaking past the airship window had me wetting them. Didn't care whether my son liked it or not.

just finished watching up and i cried like a goodun all the way through!

 

i have to say its one of the most lovely, sweet and sad films i've seen in ages!

 

i'll be watching it again no doubt. totally brilliant film

 

have to agree with the montage at the start being so sad though. i love this film!!!!

The best character of all has to be.....

 

The Pizza Planet Truck. Made an appearance in nearly all of the films.

Yep - I loved "Up" as well, and cartoon or not, I defy any one not to feel a twinge of sadness during the "growing old" montage at the start...

If a twinge of sadness means a bit of 'grown man' weeping and a lump in the throat the size of a coconut then i definitely felt a twinge of sadness.

 

Very good and often poignant film.
