Csaba's Broon Shoes
What manager's would you rule out of the running for the Hearts hot-seat ? With a thorough search to fill the vacancy well underway it is more likely that Jeffries and Levein have been more or less ruled out as they would have been appointed by now due to them being local . The Merse
Any who are currently employed. Why would anybody leave a job to come to Hearts where they'll probably be fired 3 months later. We'll get somebody who is out of work and desperate for a way back in to football.

Sydney from Sydney
Graeme Souness. My mate spoke to him on George Street last night. His words when asked if he was interested in the Hearts job were :- "I'm mad, but I'm not that mad." Out of all the usual suspects he's the one who you just know would do it "his"way. Personally I'd take him in a second. He'd bring in decent players for every position, and players would have to perform, no question. I remember years ago he said he's be interested if we ever merged with Hibs. That won't ever happen but with a decent transfer kitty he'd turn us around. hoofhearted
although i would like to see a souness type figure take the helm i think that we maybe aiming slightly above ourselves. i say this as having looked at the way vlad works i think he may be looking at an up and coming manager/coach that has been doing great with lower division english clubs were tactics rather than budget have been getting results. we have the neucleus of a good squad with maybe a cpl of additional players required from an astute manager who knows his 451 from his 442 to bring us back on track. i personally think that any big named manager will steer clear for the moment until its been established that the manager has full control, but i think it could be the ideal chance for a up and coming manager with as i said before with a track record in non premiership football to show himself in a larger arena.
