Dazo Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 In the grand scale of things i don't think he is that bad and we could do a lot worse.
neiljb Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Phew, I thought it was Dougie "cheat" MacDonald.
Gavsy Van Gaverson Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 They are all consistantly crap. It doesn't really matter who the referee is, you can bet he'll have a nightmare.
CAT Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 I think we have to wonder if there would have been a good option from that list....
Old Nick Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 I thought it must to be Dougie McHobo after that thread title.
TDB Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Makes no odds theses days, all Scottish ref's are sheeite any way.......
souness1874 Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Could of been worse, i expected Dougie McDonald after thread title. Clark and Dougal are probably the best of a bad bunch
Del1812 Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Bad but could have been so much worse. Would have liked Dougal, apparently we have a good record against them when he's ref, enough so that Hibees call him a Yam - cos you know they are just that funny.
magicTs Posted January 17, 2008 Author Posted January 17, 2008 To me there are more incompetent refs than Clark but no others as bias. I genuinely think he has an agenda against Hearts where as many are just useless.
Groatallar Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 To me there are more incompetent refs than Clark but no others as bias. I genuinely think he has an agenda against Hearts where as many are just useless. I thought he was the ref at the 1-1 home game v Celtic. When I saw the title I thought McDonald, I am delighted it is Clark who I rate as one of the better refs.
peebles jambo Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 won't matter who it is, we'll beat them whether it be 11v11 or 11 v14, roll on sat
Elmo Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 him and dougal are easily the best refs we have and i have always considerded him fair and unbiased. who would you have wanted as ref?
Examiner Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Got to beat the ref as well in all our games anyhoo. It'll just make the victory a bit sweeter
Rods Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 All refs are bad apart from that ref that gave us the bounce ball last week to set up our second liked his style
scottish_chicP Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Phew, I thought it was Dougie "cheat" MacDonald. Me too!! Was a bit scared to click on the thread in case it confirmed it!!
hawaii Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 It was Clark at the Celtic game. Clearly remember him awarding O'Dea a freekick when he dived and went on a RANT against RN. If that is a ref being able to keep his composure then what's he like when he loses the plot?
chester copperpot Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Could of been worse, i expected Dougie McDonald after thread title. Clark and Dougal are probably the best of a bad bunch Exactly what I was thinking. I seriously thought Dougie Mchobo when i first saw it.
Frame Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 I'm a new jambo fan and I've been attending the matches since the begining of this season. I have to be honest and admit that previously I never took into consideration the role of the ref within a football game, I guess I use to watch it with rose-tinted glasses on I suppose. But now I realised that referees can either make or break a game and I feel that personally most of the referees I've seen this season have been laughable - Clark included. I just hope that come Saturday he is equal to both sides and that no biast judgements are made, although we all know refs are suppose to be impartial
Nucky Thompson Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Kenny Clark has no agenda against Hearts. If he did why give us a last gasp penalty against the mhanks? It's not as if it was a stone waller either:wacko:
H2 Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Most refs are good, it's the players that cheat that caus eth problems. Claiming dor thing when they know they put it out diving etc. Kenny Clark is a good referee
Libertonian_II Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Kenny Clark has no agenda against Hearts. If he did why give us a last gasp penalty against the mhanks? It's not as if it was a stone waller either:wacko: If that wasn't a stone-waller, I'd hate to see one that was!
dougiea Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Kenny Clark is one of the best of a very bad bunch. I remember him sending off Richard Gough at Ibronx in '98 for flattening Neil McCann, not many refs would have done that.
flem Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 One of the better refs! could have been a lot worse!
Smoked-Glass Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 It was kenny clarke who didn't send off Zal in the 1-0 win for us at Easter road on April fools day though! http://www.myspace.com/smokedglass Playing PO NA NA on Saturday night.
Paws (FTH) Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 All the Scottish refs are pi$h. Could be worse than Clark though. How many other referees have awarded us a penalty against an OF team with only minutes to go this season?!
Diego10 Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 considering it could have been Freeland, McDonald, Richmond, or Brines, I'm happy enough with Clark.
Mr Sifter Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 I thought he was the ref at the 1-1 home game v Celtic. When I saw the title I thought McDonald, I am delighted it is Clark who I rate as one of the better refs. I know he was the ref when we done smelltic in the CIS......if that helps!
Dazo Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 In the grand scale of things i don't think he is that bad and we could do a lot worse. Glad to see i called that one spot on.
