tynie1874 Posted February 20, 2008 Share Posted February 20, 2008 i'm posting in the wrong section but i need a quick reply as i play online gaming and need help sorry mod's ok i've tryed to install the sound codecs and i have succeeded i still can't seem to get the sound coming out. via audio pc 97 i've been on microsoft too install them and when i try it asks for windows xp disc the driver version it says is. 5.10.0.6280 it's Realtek AC'97 ok been on the realtek website. and found a setup i'm in the middle of the installation and it's coming up with this message. The file " ksuser.dll" on Windows Xp Home Edtion Service Pack 2 CD is needed below it also says. Copy files from c:/windows/temp/i386 i don't have this file on the computer i don't want too have to redownload this file as it took ages because other people are connected to my network. is there any other way around this. You should always install the MB drivers first, followed by the sound driver. Get the best sound driver to use from the motherboard manufacturers site (they WILL have a tested driver available.)
