Brandt Posted August 5, 2009 Share Posted August 5, 2009 Cult classics The Toxic Avenger – Uncut (1984) and Class of Nuke ‘Em (1986) will be screened on the evening of Thursday 13 August, complete with an exclusive in-person Q&A with Troma director/producer and company President, Lloyd Kaufman. Founded in 1974, Troma have since garnered a huge fan following for their gory, low budget and often satirical movies, titles such as Toxic Avenger leading to numerous sequels and imitations. The event is due to start at 9pm on the evening of Thursday 13 August with a ticket price of ?9 (?8 for concessions/members). Tickets are on sale from the Cameo (0871 704 2052 and in person at the box office) and at Cult Fiction Movies (95 Newington Road - 0131 466 8563). Oh, Cult Fiction Movies are obtaining the rights (for a measly $50) for a small distribution of one the greatest B film ever made. The film that invented the so-bad-its-good title.
