Hearts 4 Hibs 0, Scottish Cup semi final. 4. Hearts 3 Celtic 1, being 0-1 down at half time and when Henry Smith made that save. 5. Aberdeen 1 Hearts 3, around 88-89, our record against them at the time was shocking. chester copperpot
I find this hard, as I have been to a fair few. Will do my best to narrow it down to 5, then put another few in my life: 1. 98 Cup final 2. 06 Cup final 3. 4-0 semi against the hoofobo's 4. 1-0 Aberdeen CL Qualification 5. 1-0 Bayern Munich And then in no particular order: 4-4 Hibs 1-0 Clydebank 86, I started to believe. 2-1 Basle, just awesome 1-0 Bordeaux. Wasn't there due to a trip to Florida pre planned, but celebrated like it was 1999, had a trip to hospital in Florida when I heard the result as I jumped up and split my head, great use of the holiday insurance. 5-1 Hibs, De Vries was the hammer of the hibees that day, love him. 1-0 Rangers 05, I genuinely started to believe here. 3-0 Velez Mostar, Attended that game with Aberdeen's Jackie Mcnamara, even that wee hibs cant enjoyed it. 4-1 Dunfermline - Was only 14 at the time, but started my first song about laughing at the Cellick on the way out of EEP due to them getting pumped out the League cup when we had just humped the Pars. Ach there's so many, probably missed out loads, but theyre the one's that spring to mind in my drunken rant.

heartgarfunkel
Big Cup 98 Fozzie on the Fence Big Cup 06 Stuttgart away Hampden humbling Notice nothing on this thread like the typical lochend small 'Albert Kidd'. As Edinburgh Big Team we would never consider something like Kjell's comedy double at the Warrior Poet Arena in our Big Cup year which admittedly came a mere 52 years after the previous one. You could ask the same question of a Leith San Siro-ist and while the answers would be as heartfelt, the quality of the response would be incomparable. It would be like comparing the results of the question 'Top 5 Lady Occasions?' if asked to Rod Stewart and Jimmy Crankie.

loveofthegame
1998 cup final-i was too young to fully enjoy the 'after match entertainment...' but the memories will live with me forever. Sober memories too because of my age!! Seeing my Dad that happy was pretty amazing too Hearts 4- Hibs 0 SC Semi- Greatest match of my Hearts supporting 'career', the fact my seat was the 1 next to the the police by the split between us and the Hobos made it all the sweeter= best seat in the house that day, bar none! 2006 Cup final- Joint with the 2 above. Game was at times horrifying but a 7-0 win would have been boring right....!? What a day, and i certainly was old enough to enjoy it by this time! Bordeaux 0- Hearts 1 My first away European trip, what a game, what a support, what an atmosphere, and what a party! Hearts 1-Rangers 0 Bednar. Struggled to think of a 5th favourite, there have been so many. 6 other European trips, countless derby wins, other wins over the OF, cup finals, semi's etc etc, Aberdeen to get into the Champs league but went for this one purely because it was the day I REALLY BELIEVED WE WERE GOING TO GO ONTO SOMETHING SPECIAL. After that game I,and i think the rest of those there at Tynie that day, believed we had a real chance at the league. What might have been!
