Refuse to pay.

Explain all the red cards are the majority of them are probably last man tackles so how can they fine us for that?

If bank charges are classed as excessive and are going through the courts at the moment, then this is extremely excessive for something that the refs contribute !!

The annoying thing is we are not a dirty team, (except Zaliukas' punch, kick, what did I do? :) )

Can anyone remember the circumstances of the 10 red cards?

Zal v Falkirk (mentioned above)

Wallace v Aberdeen (calling the ref a f****** p****, who called the f****** P**** a referee?)

Balogh v Hibs (last man)

Karipidis v Hibs (last man)

Zaliukas v Aberdeen (headbutt, wrong decision!)

Miko v Rangers (2 fouls, 2 yellows = 1 red)

Can't remember anymore?

Red cards are actually a bit bizarre as there is quite likely to have been

more mischief going on during many yellow card offences ?

Anyway

1) ..........Miko ..........need I say more- dismissed

2) ..........Eggy..........cant recall the incident- Fair enough

3) ..........Zal............O/F player NEAR the box- Harsh

4) ..........MS.............MI5 agent in the stand- Foolish ( perhaps an FE )

5) ... ......LW.............2 tackles and off- Harsh

6) ..........Zal ............nonsense- Dismissed

7)...........Zal.............Madness- Fair enough

8)...........Bal.............Rules of the game- Fair enough

9)...........Kari............Rules of the game- Fair enough

That's my take on it anyway

Only 5 out of 9 ( lets call it half ) that would stand up in court IMO

However 2 were for violent conduct ( Zal v Falkirk + MS at Love st ) and it's those incidents ( both regrettable ) that will be highlighted, and the rest of the reds just appear to put more weight behind the indiscipline claims.

If I remember right, the last fine was after 7 reds in half a season.

Surely 3, albeit still from our point of view 3 too many, is an improvement and they should wait until the end of the year again to see if this improvement has continued. 2 of these have been for last man challenges which is a technical offence rather than a violent one.

I would think that the amount of yellows has also significantly decreased in 2009.

Anyone with stats on yellows?

Hearts need to start, respectfully, defending themselves over this. I'm fairly sure that most of the SFA's referees have noticed a big difference in the Hearts players' general behaviour.

Csaba said at the last briefing that he was trying to coach desperate tackles out of the players in favour of pressurising opponents into mistakes and losing possession. Michael Stewart is probably the only hopeless case in this respect. He just can't seem to help himself.
