My game is ****ed! Driving, mid-irons, pitching, bump and runs, putting, the whole shooting match. Best bit of my game is shaking hands on 18, and retiring to the clubhouse. Not looking forward to the knockout comps I've managed to progress in. My game was respectable prior to a golf holiday in Spain. Since then the shanks (pardon the pun, rat) have appeared. I need to get away from it, but can't due to the knockouts. Really pissed off! 6 H/cap.

I’ve been the Saturday last few years but I feel your standing about waiting for groups to pass even trying to follow is hard , so decided this year it’s a Friday 3 balls tee off at 1 and 10 will see plenty this year.

I marshalled last year, just going as a punter this year!

Person I go with normally might be unable to go this year, it’s not going to stop me going myself, I’ve never been on my own before. I play golf and have been going to tournaments for years but never been to one on my own, has anyone done this ? I don’t have any fear or worry about , can watch who I want and go where I like without consulting the mate.
