Need to still have a chance after the 13th May or maybe our Hearts will already be "William Hill Premiership 25/26 CHAMPIONS" ...Who knows? Get it printed without the dates. If you can't wear this year - good chance you will in next 5 years.

Could you all list your games each day + courses played, plans, arrangements, scores, transport arrangements, type of ball used, review of each course, clubhouse service, parking, green speed. Then enter all this info on a new thread called - "Golf stuff that absolutely nobody wants to know". Thanks.
hmfc_liam06 Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Played today. A very poor 84. Was a nice morning so walked to the course, thought it would have been a good warm up but I started with a double bogey. So probably won’t do that again. Picked the first ball out my bag, was a Titleist Tour Soft. Again, didn’t play well, so probably won’t use that ball again. Course isn’t in brilliant nick, desperate for warmth and a period without rain. Greens had just been topped dressed. Resulted in differing speeds, which didn’t help my terrible putting. Had plans afterwards so didn’t hang about, heard the new caterer is decent though. Must try it sometime. Hopefully tomorrow brings a change of fortune. That’s the round at Archerfield as an FYI for those interested.

Bryson De Jambo Posted April 19 Posted April 19 I've been playing golf for a good few years and I still get a rage, when I land in a divot. Honestly, why the **** do I not get a free drop. I have hit the ball on the fairway, why am I being penalised for something I haven't caused. It really is an infuriating rule. Had the classic round of 2 halves yesterday. Front 9 was a 46 back 9 shot a 33. Though landing in 3 divots and a spectacular 4 putt on the first hole, didn't help my scoring on front 9😕 To those playing Fidra today, enjoy. The course is in decent condition and greens have come on massively the last few weeks. I’ll need to keep an eye out for some shifty looking golfers today though🤣 Will be interested to see how the non members find the course.

Perfect 8, 3 Jambo's, 2 Hobbo's, 2 Zombie's & a Victim. Sawgrass... Big retirement holiday in Canada/America back in 2024. Applied for masters tickets, Kb'd. Band that I follow were playing their Big-Splash extravaganza @ Moon Palace, Cancun, Kb'd, because they decided to play a North American tour instead. If lucky, my itinerary was gonna be; Masters, Sawgrass & trip to Cancun. The band are all golfers and could've had the chance to play with them on Moon Palace's golf course. Previous years, the band organised comps with special guest...John (mullet) Daly. Trade-off was Nashville, to see the band, Memphis (Graceland) and Beale St...BB Kings gaff was/is a shit-hole/rip-off! and then calm...a fortnight in Canada.
hmfc_liam06 Posted April 19 Posted April 19 Thoroughly enjoyed the Fidra course today thanks to @Disser Pointon. Superb golf course, especially the first 11/12 holes through the pine trees. Last few were a complete contrast but brilliant in their own way. I won’t mention the score @Samuel Camazzola @Tommy Brown 😅

HMFC01 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Matt Fitzpatrick just had an excellent shot from the bunker on the 18th. Unbelievable, one of the best I've seen. Alex and Matt on verge of winning.

Richard Bland be as well just retiring, for example. Wonder if Westwood & Poulter will be as active on social media in the next 24-36hrs.
kila Posted April 30 Posted April 30 I have no time for Poulter or Westwood. Poulter was always a dick, but he's even more insufferable since LIV. I want neither near the Ryder Cup as captains or vice captains in the future. They made their bed and they can **** off and lie in it. Henrik Stenson another that can **** off. Though the silver lining to him joining LIV is he lost his Ryder Cup captaincy and this brought in the Luke Donald era.

Shooter McGavin Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Stenson, Poulter, Westwood, McDowell, Bubba, Sergio etc's best days were well behind them - so they were always going to take the money. Phil in this camp also, despite winning the PGA in 2021. It's a shame to see those players finishing their careers associated with such a gimmicky entity. Rahm, Cam Smith and Niemann totally stunted their careers - whilst being at the peak of their powers - which is quite sad as you want to see those players competing with the best at the highest level, not wasting prime years in meaningless events with poor fields, on average courses. Bryson seems more interested in making content for YouTube, and will likely focus on that and just the majors going forward. The team names/branding is cringy, and I always got the impression that the players looked miserable playing in those meaningless events, with naff music blasting, whilst having to pretend "The Cleeks", "The Range Goats" and "Fireballs" were serious brands. Funny how this whole thing came about because of leverage, and now the players that jumped ship have none, and the PGA Tour has them by the short and curlies.
El Prez Posted April 30 Posted April 30 18 minutes ago, Shooter McGavin said: They were both vocal on twitter recently saying all the rumours were "bulls*hit" Lol. Long way back for a few of them. Unfortunately for the likes of Poulter, Westwood, Stenson, etc, they're seniors now. Don't think the Senior Tour will take them either.
Victorian Posted April 30 Author Posted April 30 I don't believe in excluding golfers from competition because bad choices can be made and golf should include everyone to be the best test it can be. But I would certainly make them go through the ranks before tour status. And not to the disadvantage of up and coming or journeyman players. I might tend to restrict their access to tour status on a numbers basis and see a few sweat at getting back in. Welcome back but earn it.
The Mighty Thor Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Q school. And they should only get the priviliges based on their q school qualification just like the other players. **** them
Ray Gin Posted May 1 Posted May 1 They're all absolutely ****ing loaded now anyway. Kick back, relax, and just play golf for the fun of it without the stress of being on Tour. They're living the dream! (or should be)

Pasquale for King Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Would guys like Poulter, Westwood and Stenson pay the fines to get back on the DP tour? Koepka paid $63m yo return to PGA tour, you would imagine De Chambeau would need to pay more than that, Rahm may need to do what Reed is doing and qualify through DP tour rankings.

Shooter McGavin Posted May 12 Posted May 12 The PGA could be a complete birdie-fest, some of the players have come out already saying it’s wide open from the tees.
kila Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Greens are super quick, so hopefully that'll be enough bite to stop runaway scores
