Nobody is denying his opportunity to celebrate, but he might have shown a bit of compassion towards Tommy, given how he must have been feeling. Once he had shaken hands then he could have gone nuts with no issue.

Compare it to Justin Rose v Mickelson in the Ryder cup a much much bigger event

Classy v classless

He might have but he didn’t have to. It’s sport, he celebrated.

Wonder if there was such outrage when Tiger was doing pretty much exactly what Bradley done?

Eldrick was never a Ryder Cup Captain, Tiger tempered his celebrations, especially in front of an opponent's capitulation, class!

Keegan's win last Sunday was only a tour event, USA v Europe in wasn't, but some American dolts in the galleries thought so and Keegan was unable to resist the furore, classless!

*Pretty much exactly*...nah!

Peter Finch made it through to Open final qualifying.

Jimmy Bullard missed out

Fair play to him as last year he had a mare, he'll have Westwood for company at Dundonald final qualifying. Josh Oddy and Matt frier both missed out from the other youtubers.

Ah sorry. Thought you had seen they were both off at the same time, which they are but different tees.

Another one bite the dust, Danny Elder, less known youtuber hails from Carnoustie country. Cracking player but the difference in levels is huge, as alluded to earlier in thread.

My playing partner sent this from Craigmiller Park open. Moaning of the 6 DBs he had.

Just noticed our Mr Young in 2nd.

@hmfc_liam06

did you manage a prize?

Yeah £100 for second. I actually thought I'd have won it no bother in those conditions and that score too but some good scoring elsewhere.

Wind was unreal, drove the greenside bunker on the 422 yard 5th

Westwood breezed through Open qualifying at Dundonald.

Alex Fitzpatrick withdrew during his attempt.

That’s a shame, pity Poulter and his son didn’t 😆.

Sun can still have its hat on with a 20mph blaw. Weather looks braw for the 4, will show East Lothian and further afield in all its glory. The Stadium 6th par 3 looks the dugs...🤓 Enjoy your marshalling. 👍

Here's an unpopular opinion.  Annually the Scottish Open week starts and folk begin to fawn over North Berwick like it's Augusta, Instagram photos and tags a plenty.  There's a few better courses down there, Gullane 1 and Dunbar for a kick off, but Iona jumps on the Ricky Fowler bandwagon with Beamer.

Nice course but I think it's over-egged, a bit like Dornoch IMO, I'd rather play Brora every day of the week up that way.

You'll find many will agree with you about NB. 16's green arrangement is an abomination. 17's elevated green that slopes downhill from the front edge, not fair. The 18th, WTF is that?...🤓

I am 100% on board about NBW being miles over-rated. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad course but it's place in the rankings is ridiculous, Dunbar is a far superior course IMO. Some of the holes on the back 9 at NBW are just shite and as for Redan allegedly being the "most copied par 3 in the world"................what!!!???

In addition similar vein, as good a course Gullane 1 is, 2&3 offer much better value on the visitor tariff.

You'll need to notify what the going rate for this year's pint is. £7.50 a Moretti last year so expecting the £8 barrier t9 be breached.

Great venue and views for watching the golf. Prices are what they are but you can take a packed lunch😉

Definitely. £7.50 for a pint isn’t that much these days, great selection of food also.

Innis & Gunn, Summer Ale £7, nectar! Good to see Scottish fare with big pitches at Renaissance.

This has to be best weather for a Scottish Open ever. Zero rain and barely any wind forecast for the full 4 days.

Not a great start for Bob on Day 2. Multiple F bombs dropped and it's only hole 4.

Enough of a breeze now. 182mph drives barely carrying 270.

McIntyre not playing well at all. Couldn't birdie par 5 that everyone reached in 2 except him as his drive was awful and his second & third were equally awful.

Needs to get birdie on 17th or 18th and as 27th looks difficult, could be all going down to last

McIntyre then hits drive on 17th to about 2 feet.

Quite a few Hearts players there today.

Cammie Devlin, Frankie Kent, Callum Neuienhoff, and James Wilson.

Forgive my spelling of Callum 's surname.

I see tee times being moved on Saturday due to the Portrush Sons of Ulster having a march. Didn't realise that Portrush still in the dark ages. If they can't accept it is 21st century, then maybe the Open shouldn't be held on their course.

Sectarian ****wits and their traditions should not be taken into account for any sporting event.

Met Office has winds gusting 25 mph, mostly sunny and chance of a few showers. Thunderstorm warning too but hopefully that doesn't come to anything.

Opening birdie for Harrington, after just making the fairway with his opening tee shot.

Know how he feels. Just making the Ladies' tee. 😔

In fairness to Padraig there's been one or two already who've either hit it skyward & it's stalled. Or in Cam Smith's case, snap hooked it about 160 yards into the crap short of the fairway.

Aye they're making heavy weather of the first tee shot.

Out of four practice holes on the 1st, he put two Oscar Bravo - one left, one right.

It's certainly not an opening tee shot like the Old Course presents.
