Ink Cartridges

How do you replace them?

Buy either an original replacement (expensive) or a clone (cheap) lift the plastic retainer holding the old one, remove it, replace it with your choice, shut the plastic retainer and print.

Cheap replacements can be bought online at a tiny fraction of the cost of brand names. Not quite as good, but barely noticeable to the naked eye. Try http://www.printcartridge.com for instance.

They also screw up the warranty if anything happens while having a refilled one in it. If it's an older printer which isn't under warranty then go for it.

I agree with you, if you own a top of the range printer. Most printers are not expensive these days though.

The genuine Epson/HP catridges can be very expensive, so imo, buying the compatable catridges is fine in most cases.

Brian Whittaker's Tache

I use non OEM ones these days from cartridge world. Half the price of the originals.

The reason OEM ones are so expensive is that thats where the manufactureres make their money. They make heehaw on the printers but ram you for cartidges.

Depending on what printer you use, investing in one of these is money well spent

Absolutely spot on.

The warranty is a money spinner also for curry's etc. Waste of money.

It is an old printer but the thing that olds the cartdrige looks unaccessable.

And Cigaro, the only problem is is that I don't have owrd. I deleted it to make room for footy manager. (A big mistake)

Also. I have the new cartrdige.

Try pressing the ink button for a few seconds... the catridge holder should move the the correct position (depends on model)

Best bet is to pack up the printer and the pc and send back to where you got them, as you are obviously too stupid to own them.:P
