Hearts Heritage Posted February 6, 2008 Share Posted February 6, 2008 Saturday is the 130th anniversary of 1st game of 5 in the EFA Cup Final of 'Heart of Mid-Lothian vs Hibernian'. This game and subsequent replays are arguably the most significant in Derby History These games were very significant as the established 'The Heart' and 'Hibernians' as the two premier sides in Edinburgh and East of Scotland football. The likes of 'Thistle', 'Hanover' and '3rd Edinburgh RV' were never again seen as the 'big clubs.
