Smashed seats at Tynecastle

I was at the game tonight with my sheep of a brother and I am sorry to say that Section G, row 17, seat 5(ish) - Callum, your seat's been broken.

Aberdeen were horrendously bad and it got smashed after the fourth goal.

Good atmosphere though, but a bit of a wierd experience.

12,000+ decent atmosphere and a fat Mark de Vries !

So basically both teams brought more fans for a trip further than we had to travel for our semi then.

Well done to them.

How?

We sold just under 8,000.

Our game was live on BBC.

Get your facts right.

Was a really good game last night and, tell you what, Dundee United look a very decent team.

Mark Kerr and that Conway boy on the right in particular looked excellent, whereas Wilkie and *sputter* Dods look pretty solid.

If we're to have any chance of third, we have to improve dramatically. And fast.

Dimmy Ballderwood claimed that the sheep took 7k to Tynie. If that's the case then the tango bunch only took just over 5k!

Only disappointing thing is that they didnt manage to hit Brines.

Langfield pelted with a plastic tea cup. Bet that hurt....

With any luck, someone might have taken it to the gents first to fill it up!

Mate......de Vries is the lighter-skinned guy in the background; the one with one hand in the air and one by his side.

Of the 18K, DUFC only had 7K, and didnt sell them all.

So I'd gess AFC 7K, DUFC 5K is about right on the night.

Do Aberdeen even manage that many for a standard home game these days?

Mind you, I was forced to live up there I'd jump at the chance for a day away in civilisation visiting a smashing stadium.

Well said.

The tenor of so many of the posts to this site is anti, rather than pro, Heart of Midlothian.

I find it tedious, and I'm not a "Vlad sheep".

By no stretch of the imagination can 8,000 be deemed to be even a half decent crowd for a team of our size. Aberdeen had much further to travel than we did, and I'd imagine made up over half of the 12,000.

The game being shown on BBC should be no real excuse. If you watched the game on BBC with no real excuse then you want to have a long hard look at yourself.

PS I would say MDV looks slimmer now than he did towards the end of his time with Hearts.

was more like 6500/5500

never believe tango man and his inflated sheep crowds, remember he claimed they were taking 10000
