I think they must have been focusing on developing the future Hearts rather than the present Hearts. Taking Ivaskevicius as an example, he was played at left mid, centre mid, right mid, striker and full back. If you play a player in multiple positions he can be used as a "utility player" and brought in if you have a thin squad with injuries and suspensions. The problem is we have too big a squad so don't need players to do this sort of thing, unless the long term plan was/is to clear out some of the players?.... CMc Posted January 16, 2008 Share Posted January 16, 2008 I went for: Driver Stewert Chesny Ruben Jonsson With instructions to stewart that if he doesn't play a disciplned game high up the park supporting Velicka he will get hooked for Audry/ Miko on the wing Ches-driver behind the strikers. 4-2-3-1 to plug the hole behind the strikers and keep Ruben and Eggy out of each others way. Didn't actually vote for Ruben as I haven't been able to get to the last few games to see his performance, i opted for Jonsson instead.
