All that I've suggested is that using the plan might give us a slightly better chance of getting a goon on day 1. And that discussion of the plan might give us some clues as to folks' allegiances. F'rinstance I've got one or two whom I feel to be slightly more trustworthy as I feel they may be roled goodies. Obviously I'm not going to name them - I'll let the goons do their own dirty work. I don't know if Cigaro is usually invisible, just saying it's not really a good indicator of anything as quite a few people like to be invisible generally on the board. But it's never been a 'lynching plan' - simply a levelling of the playing field on this first usually crappy day for the toon. If nothing else at least it's something different and to me it's made some folk noticeable for speaking a lot and some folk noticeable for saying not very much. I genuinely feel that goons that are good enough can influence the voting without appearing to be too dodgy. A simple aspersion cast here or there can be enough to condemn anyone - and they're not gonna care who gets bumped off...there's usually enough of a pile on that they don't even have to vote for the innocent party. And, to be honest, I don't believe the first day voting patterns give us that much anyway since it's only the goons who know anything and they can (relatively) easily influence the voting. Meant to add...the plan would totally level the playing field - i.e. take out any chance of goons influencing the first lynching - and once the first unfortunate player was lynched (85% chance of it being a townie - or 100% chance of it being me if Deek went for his plan ) we'd then be able to start the game properly, but with (a) that wee bit more info but ( 2 fewer players. Also it would suck BIG style to be the unfortunate player booted off in a 20-way penalty shoot-out. I'd like more talking from the quiet folks and I'd like someone to come in for a pint...I've been open for 2 days now and hardly had a soul across the threshold!! FREE BEER for the next 10 visitors!!
