January 2006 - Hearts are second in the league. Hearts are quality.

January 2006 - Hearts release Neil MacFarlane. He goes to Aberdeen.

January 2008 - Hearts are pish.

COINCIDENCE?

You can't argue with evidence like that. Releasing MacFarlane was the beginning of the end.

January 1st 2006 Hearts are 2 nil up on Celtic.

If we hold on and win we go 1 point behind them at the half way stage.

20 minutes to go and the referee is nervous, he and the Celtic team are desperate.

Shaun Maloney dives infront of Fysass. Takis Fysass is shown the red card, Celtic score and go on to win (in injury time that god knows where the time came from)

Celtic win league

coincidence?

Good point. I'd be more than happy to see him in our midfield at the moment, was a big fan of his workrate and commitment.

LOL - It's was sure the end for MacFarlane wsn't good enough for Aberdeen or Gretna.

No, paranoia. I think we've taken the crown from Celtic fans in that respect.

MacFarlane should have come on in that game to shore up the midfield ...
